@02:20, I don't know what happened, but I bet if an operator was in their when it happened, he probably sucked all the cotton out of seat and gave everything a wash-down at the same time.
only drivers watching this will know that in at least 50% of these vids is that split second when you know your in the shit you should stop and get help but you think no i will just...................
most of this was probly caused becaus the people operating the equipment dont own them and it dident cost them shit so the dident care in the first place!!
Dumb ass OPERTATORS YOU SUCK BALLS >>>>> JASON DESJARDEN ...... DUMB FUCK ---- COCK GOBBLER MOTHERFUCKER .... HAHA _ YOUR MAMA IS AN OLD SLUT----- AND FUCK THE REST OF YOU IUOE MI> FAGGOTS
I have ran excavator and backhoes for years and had my share of sticky situations. Any asshole can jump on a machine and bury it in mud or tip it over. Show us some pictures of the real rocket scientists.
been an operator for 15 years or so. lost count of how many times i said "how in the fuck!?!" while watching this. dont u think that when ur up over the tracks it would occur to u that shit has gone awry!?!
At 1:45 to 1:55 showes Steins ole CAT hoe and the CASE was a 460, I was there. How did you get the pictures? I only remember 1 person thaking pictures, it was at the Signal Mountain WALMART project in Chattanooga TN, how you get them?
Hmm...it seems that most of these drivers are unaware of the fact that wet dirt is really soft...perhaps parking a 15 ton piece of equipment on top of a sink hole is not the best idea in the world
i have rolled my bob cat once and i have had it stuck onece or twice but also with the logging company i work for we get two something three pices of equipment stuck a week so its not really that uncoman when you work in a lot of marsh land
haahaa so funny hey you guys in longreach xcavtrs yas are meant to sit on solid ground and reach in not sit in watr n mud an reach out hahah.some one call the trainer.
beyond the capabillity of the equipment little man syndrome. wear your seatbelts especially on minni's they ll buck you off if your not payen attention
there were two maybe three in there that were truck drivers faults that i noticed. I'm guessing skid steer he fell off and it rolled a few times to land like that
Ok the dozer at 2:56 surely shit his pants. I got one of my dad's excavators stuck while cleaning out a pond. When pop got there he kept yelling, "Stop digging you dumb-ass!!!"
at 0:51 was all to familer, nightmare job, my buddy was bumped up to my old Samsung when I got my new volvo, between him and the forskin it was as deep as that Komatsu by the time I wallowed my 240B over, from that day on we had no choice but have two hoes on site because it was a daily thing
The best thing about this equipment when that happens is you just need to get it upright, wash it off, do some minor adjustments, and youre goin again.
Some of these burials may be just a result of "don't park the machine on a mound of clay or silt at the end of the day". . . the site was dry and stable, but then they went home and it rained a couple inches...
Curious if you operators ever get one of these things stuck so bad it just becomes yard art? Or do you always extract? Saw some pics of wrecks and sticky bits in Alaska that made me cringe.
Props to you guys and the convenience we enjoy because of your work!
@punjedi if its submerged, its usually toast. I was running a 490 E Deere yesterday that we nearly lost to the bay area mud. Filled to within 18 inches of the roof of the cab, and requiring a D9, D5, 220 Exc to pull it out.
In the 68 Riverside Ca flood ,a sand company left its drag line on the dry river bottom just the other side of the bridge. It only took a couple of hours and the only thing visable ever seen again was about about three ft of the boom sticking up out of the sand. A couple years after that at the same site the op got off his loader walked around back, rolled back & end of operator. After that on a rented D6 w/rop a man forgot to buckle up, end of operator.. 53. I loaded the wrong dozer 54
OK, I've found myself in a couple of the simpler 'stuck' situations - every heavy equipment operator has or they are being too gentle... but 3:40 makes me wonder how he got that far out from shore...
@TruthinFilm if you look at the lower left you can see the tire marks, story has it the bank gave way and it and it rolled several times before landing that way. still seems like it should be flipped on the other side if that was the case?
@letsdig18 My guess is that he rolled on to the right side, then the top and finally came to rest on the left side where the machine is sitting. that must have been one hell of a scare for the operator!!
@TruthinFilm ..Only a spastic would agree with that statement. at 3;40 it rolled to that position.. not surprised you get bogged with powers of observation like that.
@TruthinFilm He could have gotten it stuck at low tide an then the water came up around it. Happens all the time where i live. People drive on the beach an then get stuck in the sand an the tide comes in.
@mossoak3 Do you mean the bobcat at 3:40 in the water? I hope he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. I think in a situation like that, a safety belt would do more harm than good.
it could be these were operators who were following orders if that is so they were probably following orders from a foreman who got his job by nepotism or ass kissing this is the end result of putting people in charge of jobs they dont know how to do!!!
