  • The announcement comes one day after Pope Benedict XVI warned of “grave threats” to religious liberty in the U.S.

In an address to a group of U.S. bishops visiting the Vatican, the Pope voiced great concern over “certain attempts being made to limit that most cherished of American freedoms, the freedom of religion.” He said that it is “imperative” for “the entire”Catholic community” in the U.S. to realize that the threats are “hostile to Christianity

  • Washington D.C., Jan 20, 2012 / 02:45 pm (CNA/EWTN News).-" The Obama administration announced Jan. 20 that it will not expand an exemption for religious groups that object to its requirement for health insurance plans to cover sterilization and contraception – including abortion-causing drugs – free of charge Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, said in a Jan. 20 statement that religious employers who object to providing the coverage will be...."

  • I just came across your videos here Mr. Mosher, you darn well make sense. I give you thumbs up. The world is not so pretty.

  • I think sir, that you are not even a human. Just because you already decided that all of people around you are not humans like you or same as you. Bouch administration is not the world.. it is a real story.. you should know this.

  • This is a man opposing sending Africans with AIDS condoms. I don't know about "swirley eyes" but you, sir, either have an odd sense of humour or your a lunatic

  • Ok, simple question - Can you think of anything that will get better with a higher population than we have now? Anything? Any area where quality of life will improve?

  • @FloridaRaider dude more people = more workers there isn't too many people in the world people are just compact in someplaces and are they are reproducing like rabbits ( MOSTY 3RD world countries) there. oh yeah and if you add co2 you get more food production so don't be to afraid of that co2 thing it will one make some areas more dangerous reduction population with out anyone touching my balls thanks. the world is a selfhealing thing just let it do its thing.

  • The only hypocrites or liars, I see, are those that defend the U.N. and it's programs of forced sterilization and abortions. I guess human rights only belong to the women of America when they want to have abortions for selfish reasons. Those of you that support the U.N. are only feeding the beast. By the time your children are forced to be sterilized it will be too late to do anything. Wake up, this is but a trial run for what's to come. Georgia Guide Stones anyone?

  • "The Huffington Post called everyone who is concerned about the right to life a liar." No, they called the PRI liars. Calling everyone who is concerned about the right to life a liar would mean calling ever person in the entire world a liar, and I'm 100% sure that no journalist would ever make a statement like this. Bush ran the economy in the States into its worst condition since the Great Depression, so I wouldn't trust any economical decision he made while in office,

  • while in office, including support of the PRI. After watching all these videos, I'm now convinced that the PRI is a biased, right-wing, religiously fueled program not interested in facts, but defaming and slandering a progressive institution like the UNFPA. Put out a video that's not based on outrageous sensationalist and alarmist claims against the UNFPA, and actually shows hard evidence that the UNFPA is a bad organization, and THEN maybe I'll be convinced otherwise.

  • lol he was being hypocritical

  • lol these videos make me laugh.

  • Another reason why I boycott their news.

  • the HUFFPOST CENSORS at a shameful rate

    liberal here...

    and boycotting huffpost

  • I don't know about you guys but for me if the individual, family, government can morally and religiously take in abortion I'm fine with that.

  • Of course the supreme irony in this is that for all the mewling about women and their pushy boyfriend/husband's (almost forgot them, didn't you?) right to kill the innocent, who is most often the target of abortion in China? I'll spot you the w, the o, the m, the n, and let you buy a vowel.

  • Secondly, many researchers from across the political spectrum have exposed the Huffington Post's lies about Steven Mosher. The truth is that forced abortions still exist in China. You have to be better than using neo-cons like O'Reilly and then equate their deception with me.

  • You took all of this time to respond to me. First, I don't follow Rush Limbaugh and exposed him for refusing to expose the new world order.

  • "TruthSeeker," the comment below, re: Rush Limbaugh "talking points", was directed to you, who seem to be channeling the psycho-babble, (i.e., the babble of a "psycho"), right out of Limbaugh's simple-minded script.

  • People always say that your not giving a woman her rights by not litting her have a abortion but but the fetus isn't her body at all it belongs to no one but the child for anybody reading this how would you feel if your mother decided to let you die just cause you are a inconvience. it is pretty easy to kill someone when they cant speak out for themselves like a fetus. People say pro-life people are being so rude to women but if you look at it in that way pro-choice is rude to children.

  • The Huffington Post is a shill operation that is aligned with George Soros and the rest of the establishment. They claim tolerance yet using many degatory names to criticize those with whom they disagree with.

  • And the likes of you, Rush, O'Reilly, Savage - DON'T??!! Tell me you're not serious, pleeeeze! I BEG of you!

  • The Huffington Post doesn't practice journalism - it's just a vomit rag. Don't worry about it. THEY are the swirly-eyed lunatic liberal fringe.

  • And furthermore: you use the most extreme example of "forced abortion" in China - an atrocity, to be sure - to somehow justify your sick, tyrannical desire to deprive women of their most FUNDAMENTAL rights, and that IS precisely reproductive freedom. If women do not have this right, they have NO RIGHTS AT ALL, and are nothing more than slaves, the property of men and the state. You, Mr. Mosher, are the ultimate in "swirly-eyed lunacy", an ugly, transparent theocratic tyrant!

  • What does ripping a baby's body parts out have to do with promoting rights. Abortion ends rights.

  • You other respond to me filled with profanity was very incohorent. Your ad hominem rant in my Youtube mail forgotten that Nazis supported abortion, that abortion is a violation of the right to life as found in the Preamble of the Constitution ,and that government has no right to destroy innocent human life.

  • @TruthSeeker24 it's the degree 3by which we balance rights. Your right to kick me in the face should be overruled by my right not to get kicked in the face. Rights are a human construct designed for social flourishing.

  • A man's role in pregnancy is a few seconds of pleasure. Women carry a fetus for 9 months, then go through the pain of childbirth. Are you saying there is any equivalency here! C'mon! Wake up. Please!

  • "You must not confuse location with status. An unborn child is inside a woman's body temporarily. Just as a child is inside a parent's house temporarily. Neither situation gives the parents "rights" over the child but rather clear *responsibilities*."

Wrong, unlike when a newborn baby is inside someone's house, that "child" is clearly in a position that infringes on the rights of others when inside the womb in that it infringes on the right to her own body, PS nice "grammar".

  • Hi Kyle. Are you saying an embryo has no right to exist inside a human womb? Or that it's existence infringes on the rights of the human woman who is carrying it? How can anyone ever be conceived and carried to term without infringing on the human rights of the mother? Or is it solely her opinion that matters? Opinion is dangerous ground to base human rights on... PS Easy on the sarcastic comments dude. Try and keep it calm ok? You *can* reply and debate without being nasty about grammar.

  • Yes. It's not that a fetus doesn't have rights, it's just that it doesn't have a right to use a woman's body against her will, no one does. Whether or not a fetus can live inside a woman's womb is a permission, not a right, and that permission can be denied at any time (like any other)-sad, but true.

  • @Headhunter004 {Yes. It's not that a fetus doesn't have rights, it's just that it doesn't have a right to use a woman's body against her will, no one does.}

This is like saying it would be ok to abandon your child in a desert, its absurd.

  • "lewisian": when it comes to "sarcastic comments" - DUDE ..... look who's talking! If you can dish it out, you can take it.

  • Mr. Mosher: C'mon, seriously: you don't know what a "swirly-eyed lunatic" is??!! Well, just look in the mirror, at Sarah Palin, and you vast army of Lunatic Fringe, "swirly-eyed, Christo-Fascist lunatics!" You essentially have a huge problem of women having self-determination, i.e., control over their own bodies. Why is this. You're a man, and pregnancy and childbirth have not a damn thing to do with you. Mind your own bloody business.

  • ¿Con subtitulo en español? gracias

  • Thanks Mr Mosher and thanks to your dedicated group!
