@usafisasome You are correct, that's supposed to be a Luftwaffe Panzer division commander field uniform. Or at least That's what i think it is supposed to be.... Thanks for watching! This year's video should be amazing!!!
@neolexington Willow Run is the Airport and Former Military Base/ B-24 production plant during WWII between Ypsilanti and Belleville, MI. So no it's very near to Birch Run. It would take aout the same time going from Birch Run to Detroit to get there.
@jonsm114, Awesome man I'm pretty sure I was supposed to do an interview with you but you were picking your .50 up from the B-24 when I came back to check if you were back my camera was dead. So that sucked. Hopefully I can catch you next year though!
EPIC production Rob great job very interesting and nice to see all the pipe smokers there too. thanks for sharing this and all the work you put into it buddy. Happy puffing.
The problem is the audience is not educated nor are they mature enough to even realize what the reenactment represents. The average person watching is amused by it, which really upsets me because they don't identify what they are seeing with the emotional and physical carnage that is war. Instead it becomes a fireworks show. :(

OMG.ok...you win...i can't beat that! LOL That was amazing.I think i have all the small arms shown in the video the vehicles and uniforms were great.and the b17s were spectacular! i got to see yeager with 4 p51s with a b17 fly over the Indy 500 one year.I would have liked to see the SS a bit better represented...somehow i don't think most would have met the strict physical criteria LOL.more like Mr Magoo than Joachim Peiper me thinks! lol.we need to do a group trip to this next year id love it!
@superpelic, Yeah I couldn't find any Allied reenactors with pipes at this show :( Though I have seen them before. Wish the camera hadn't died I would have had way more interviews (the Stuart tanks were next on the list) but I think it turned out well and I'm sure I'll get way more next year. Another issue was how the battle was set up. Unless we had 3 cameras there was no way the battle would have been filmed well unfortunately. But thanks for watching and for the comments!
The guy who pops into the background at 3:40 seems like a pretty sweet guy.
