  • Liked the variation and will look forward to more variations

  • Just the type of exercise i was looking for to get better shoulders, Good Stuff.

Are you leaning against anything? can picture me doing this in the gym and falling over

  • looks like I need to buy another toaster before I can do this workout...

  • For Those Who Haven't Tried This Yet, I Recommend It. You Feel The Burn Right Away And You Get Results. One Of My Favorite Shoulder/Chest Workouts. You Don't Need Much Weight Either...A 15 Lbs Dumbell Is Probably All You'll Need.

  • Iv been looking for something that works that upper chest clavicle area forever! thanks man!

  • how many reps?

  • @tuleninho Do not do it untill failiure, you will probebly fuck up you're shoulders by doing so.

  • I recently had acl reconstruction and I cant kneel and lean back. How can I implement this into my routine with out having the ability to kneel???

  • ur pretty skinny tbh, but very ripped and good lookin in a matter. work on width and u'll be awesome.

  • Great exercises, gonna try this tomorrow at the gym.

  • your either a IDIOT or a GENIUS lol

  • use a pek deck machine to hit that part of the chest?

  • he needs a goatee for some reason

  • if you actually responded to people, you'd get 5x more comments

  • Another great exercise clip, as is all your stuff............I don't think your neck is too long lol A+

  • Do this but Arnold press twist at the top?

  • looks like a great workout needing a variationg to increase my overall chest strength defs be adding this to my routine.

  • this guy has a dinosaur neck... if his neck was shorter he would look normal.

  • Fajtus13* damn spell correct..lol

  • @Fattie13. U could try sitting on an incline bench. And then just sit up to hit ur shoulders. N then back for chest again. This seems to b a light weight exercise. Is focus on form n muscle concentration. Maybe half or a lil more of what U'd use w regular seated db shoulder press.

  • great exercises thanks alot!

  • cool exercise, although cant do it if one have a knee problem or if you recover from knee injury(my case).

  • I saw you on this advertisement for some kind of supplement I think.

  • This was very informative! Thank you!

  • so i get it, pretty much a weighted uppercut. will this also help in the outer area of the pec as well? i'm having trouble targeting that area, when i lift my arms straight up, my outer pec curve inward instead of outward like yours and many other weightlifters. any advice.

  • keep up the steroides

  • @522waterboy Steroids not Steroides. Good god N you're from a native English speaking country. pfffff~~~~

  • Wow pretty innovative! Looks like a great workout, I will incorporate this in my routine. And the great thing about this workout is its convenience factor.

  • Very innovating! I will try.

  • Thanks man i use your workout exercises every day except rest day and cardio day .

    Thanks

  • JUST Thanks!

  • This guy is great. I follow your workouts all the time man! Check my vids sometime.

  • you're a monster dude, awesome exercise

  • movement is great..but when it goes all the way up..my wrist couldn't follow the movement correctly

  • @xtechxtips SAME HERE WTF

  • Doesnt this include lat movement too?

  • This looks hard.

  • Wish this vid said it was for front delt tie-in, not as interested. But it's already loaded so...

  • whats the title of the tracks playing? anyone...

  • great tweak! finally i can see that line on my upper arm and chest

  • JEFF - I love your exercises ad i definately want to join the program. However, I am currently treating my shoulder for tendonitis shpuld i wait untill its fully healed. Also my shoulders are much smaller than my biceps and triceps, would athlean x help me with that problem?

  • his biceps r like fucking white balls no homo man

  • jeff I love how you explain everything so we kno what what were working. keep it up jeff.

  • i really like what you're doing here, the one question i have about this particular exercise is how many reps when up/down when before transitioning and how many reps/sets? is this just to be done to exhaustion?

  • My shoulder growth is plateauing from just presses and raises, this is some great info as well as the rotator cuff importance that I knew but neglected. I like this exercise and want to implement it but I don't like the pressure on my knees. Will it have the same effect if I am sitting on a flat bench and just lean back? Is there an alternative? I do notice oh heavier weights that my feet start lifting off the ground, probably due to weaker abs.

  • Smart stuff for the most part but thats just stoopid

  • Thanks Jeff, for showing how just a bit of tweaking of position helps train different parts of the same muscle group. Super tip

  • I just started athleanx, the first day i was in the gym for less than half the time I would normally spend in there and i sweat more than I ever have and I am so sore I can hardly move my arms. I think I am going to really like this program, I havent done it enough to recommend it yet but after the 90 days I will definitely put a real review.

  • omfg this is fuckin genius.

  • Good info... Going to go crazy with it next time

  • Sounds logical, so I'll give it a shot.

  • This looks sick

  • This workout is crazy.. Great information bro

  • reminds me of a pull up

  • hey jeff can you make a video about best suplements, not just for look but also for strenght and preformace....what suplements you use ? what do you thinka about glutamine ?

  • Great motion...grenade proof!!!

  • youtube.com/user/CRAZYLOCO54?feature=mhee

  • I like this exercise but I have bad knees so what I did to change it up a little I used your band and wrapped it around my chest got on my knees and instead of leaning back I just resisted the band from taking me back to activate my core, and did the exercise. I just didnt get the upper chest workout that I wanted. I just cant sit on my knees for a long time because of my knee pain.

  • did something similar (by accident haha!) the other week, and injured one of my elbows, (cleared up now, phew!) anyone got any ideas what I did wrong?

  • Great set!! Can't wait to try it on my devoted clients.

  • @jdcav24 - Would you recommend buying the total gym equipment? I like to avoid machines of any kind but I seem to have no choice right now if I have to get any kind of workout in. Please suggest. I take your advice very seriously :)

  • can you do a chest and back workout video to gain a lot of muscle? this video is great!

  • If you want look like an athelete, you gotta BE an athlete, the definition of being an athlete IS having a natural aptitude for physical activities involving physical strength, speed, or endurance thus training like one makes you one, having liposuction and silicones and all that hollywood bullshit just makes you look like one, IMO.

Im not flaming though, I still really like the combinations you come up with.

  • Man, I tried this workout the other day. That shizz is no joke.

Never thought a move so simple would be so effective.

  • Great movies so far!! Real helpful! But cud u put some back workouts up thanks :)

  • awesome video! could you do more tricep workouts?

  • looks hard to lean back

  • i like the variation ... i would appreciate a side view so that i can understand if you are hinging...... you are a great motivator... and it looks like you are increasing in side... bravo!!

  • Hey jeff your exercises have really helped alot ive just finished30 days of your workouts and i used to weigh 230 when i was fourteen and now im 15, i weigh more in the area of 170, and i just feel great thanlk you jeff keep the great work going

  • great video as usual

  • Looks like you'd want something soft under your knees.

  • Hey Jeff love this variaton for the shoulder press. I'm on week 3 of the Athlean X program, can I use this variation when a db shoulder press is required or should I just follow the press as prescribed in the exercise menu?

  • just bought your full Athlean-x System, hope its worth it!

  • i'm actually going to try for a personal trainer as a career. I like this extercise and i'm glad you uploaded it cause shoulders and triceps is what i'm actually trying to accomplish now for my fitness. If its not to much trouble Jeff would you be able to do a tricep routine with just dumbells if possible?

  • I wish I could curl those heavy toasters...

    Great vids you got here.

  • those are the most random dumbbells ever...

  • Hey man i have hurt my shoulder I would really like to know how to help it recover or something to do for it cause i cant work-out in upper body plz thumbs up this so he will see

  • That totally just blew my mind. I never would have figured that all out on my own. Thanks.

  • hey jeff what would you recomend as a starting weight for the dumbells 15-20Ibs?

  • Jeff could you tell me how to tie in biceps with forearms? i have problem that my biceps and forearms have quite a gap between them.Training biceps makes them peek more but i cant get them longer. Is there any exercise i could do?

  • I got rid of my personal trainer because your my new personal trainer now.thanks and keep making grate videos.

  • Ridiculous!!!

  • Awesome!

  • Didn`t Arnold event that move?

  • Amazing

  • Jeff you know your shit! Great exercise!

  • Show more on how to angle the BENCH, when lifting weights, the different degrees u can set the bench etc... :) PEACE!!!

  • Hey, Jeff!

    What dumbbells do you use?

  • @Ewanformayor He's using Powerblocks - adjustable dumbbells.

  • should this be done with a relatively lighter weight (compared to what you would do standing or on a bench), since your also putting strain on your core?

  • great i was about leave to gym when i saw clip so im gona try it tight now!!

  • Great video.. Thanks

  • Good stuff!!

  • I can't thank you enough dude! Thank you so much!

  • I'm loving these creative exercises Jeff, you're doing a phenomenal job!! I was wandering if you could give me something creative and new for massive biceps like yours. I'm trying to gain size, and I know that increasing the healthy food intake will help, but what's the best exercise that I can do at the end of my workout that will leave me with a satisfying "swollen" feel to fully engage every angle of both my triceps (for that horseshoe-head look) and biceps (especially engaging both heads)?

  • Awesome video!!!

How would you incorporate this into a workout?

  • I wish I had a gym at home like Jeff!

  • you need a new intro.. o_0

  • Thank for your tips ,and hope to keep fit by taking your advice

  • This seems like a great exercise. I've always wanted to focus on building an upper chest along with the shoulders, but I didn't know how to isolate that part of the body until now. Awesome video, keep em' coming!

  • this guy is the best! thanks jeff for such great advise

  • So now. Whats the best way we can tie in these two concepts together? with..... *Video Freezes* "NO!!!!!"

  • thanks a lot it's really helping i have a problem my shoulder and my hand smaller than my chest i wanna you help me to solve this problem !

  • how much weight should you use? Enough to get fatigue after 8-12 reps? how many sets?

  • I enjoyed this video. Thanks for putting it up. I do have one question for you. What advice do you have for training for a 1/2 marathon? Should i be doing athleanx and running a lot or are the two counter productive?

  • is this your only job? or do you do anything else?

  • @stephenchenmoney is being a professional trainer not enough of a job?

  • @thanatos71209 just curious, b/c i might be a personal trainer as well.. when i get older of course

  • Amazing Video!! Love This Exercise, Going 2 Do It on Next Time I Hit Gym!! :D

  • Upper chest is my biggest weak spot - cant wait to get back into training.

  • Wow, that's actually a really nice exercise! I haven't tried it but it's unlike anything I've seen before... thanks!!!

  • Great exercise. I've purchased the full AthleanX training system, and stand by it 100%. I had spinal surgery two years ago, and had to seriously change the way I exercise. This was my silver bullet. Further, if any of you travel now and again for work, as I do, packing some tubes/bands for work in your hotel room is an excellent way to go.

  • omgsh jeff youre turning me on way too much....

  • you have helped so much

  • Amazing excercise! brilliant as ever

  • your arms scare me.. :/

  • How to fix rotator cuffs injury?

  • this guy makes the smartest and most innovative workouts for real.

  • make videos for teens

  • Hey Jeff I know you've put out tricep workouts before but do you know of any excersises that hits specifically the out tricep head?

My inside head is noticably alot bigger so I trying to figure how to even them out

    (sorry for spelling)

  • I never got these results from Athleanx

  • What wheigh should I use. 70 % of what I use for shoulder press?? More or less??

  • jeff I still have trouble developing my rear delts, now instead of using dumbells i'm using kettlebells. any idea on how to develop more on this part of the delts?

  • @themainmanontheblock If ya dunt mind me answerin dude, start doin face pulls instead of rear delt raises with dumbells or your kettlebells. The problem with the delt raise is that since you're isolating the muscle, u can only use an extremely small amount of weight. The face pull ties in your upper back and traps into the movement, enabling you to go much heavier on your rear delts.

  • @wolfsbane133 well i did try that but it somehow feels painful on my wrist and somehow shoulders. anyway thx man.....

  • I liked this exercise, will surely tel wat was the result...

  • Finished 4th week of AthleanX and can't finish the 400 challenge in 17 minutes. The Inverted Row is where I fail. Any ideas on what I can do? I started doing the negative pull-ups to failure. Anything else?

  • @gerryottawa I failed on the fourth week also. just finished week two again and i was surprised when repeating the exercises how much i actually gained. just repeat weeks one threw three again and you'll see your times, strength, and reps to failure skyrocket!

  • @chopperjones1 Thanks for the encouragement and feedback. Makes it easier to go back to square 1.

  • please upload a video of your biceps workout i love your biceps

  • Great exercise but I prefer Arnold press but is it bad for rotator cuff ?

  • great exercise!!!

  • Whos the two piece of shit rat bastard shitheads that disliked this video :). Thanks for the vid, good info and its well explained.

  • ur d best

  • arnold press, ijnvented 30 years ago, but good video

  • Thanks Jeff , I am on my 5th week of Athlean-x and can say that i can see it working esp tightening my core

  • in every video you have your shirt off, yet you never get a tan lmao

  • amazing trick thanks Jeff !

  • Jeff, or anyone that could help, I am naturally a skinny bloke and my height makes me lok skinnier, the Athlean programme helps to lower body fat and become lean, but I already am quite lean, would this workout still be beneficial? I don't need to get any skinnier :/ lol

  • @storerj04 I've been doing it and i need to loose the fat but i do feel the muscle gains. the meal plan will help feed your muscles while the workouts build them.

  • @chopperjones1 Oh okay, thank you for the help, I'l save up the money and then I try and invest :)

  • @storerj04 write down what you eat everyday for a week or so and calculate the calories, carbs, protein and fat you're eating everyday. most skinni guys simply do not eat enough and without eating enough you won't gain much muscle. i have seen tremendous results since i take care of my nutrition while doing the same exercises (every set to failure)

  • @brainfreeze2809 I have already done that earlier in the year...I eat more than the Daily Guidance thing but I will still need to eat more if my energy output increases...Does the meal plan help with portion size and control as well?

    Thanks for the help :)

  • keep them coming

  • The thing about the hand twist was brilliant

  • Amazing tips as always Jeff! Keep the coming! ;)

  • thanks!

  • Awesome video, Thanks!

  • Is there a chance of injuring your back if you do this?

  • This is wicked awesome!

  • I really like the burn this type of excercise gives and working with minimum equipment is a plus for a stay at home dad, add in the core work while your doing this and you have a superb training tip. In a word Awesome.

  • This is EXACTLY what I wanted to work on next! How'd u know?- really got my attention... And yes, been telling all my friends about athleanx

  • Who's Young Reece? I wonder that every time...

  • @EJsTV i am

  • @EJsTV he's cool apparently

  • @EJsTV I think it's young race?

  • @EJsTV its Cool Yung Reace

  • @EJsTV LOL!

  • You and chuck norris should arm wrestle. Place ur bets!

  • Another great tip! I need to build my side delts!! Thanx for the tip Imma try it tomorrow.

  • i was going to build myself a bench press out of wood just to target these muscle fibers. thanks for this amazing video!

  • I appreciate this. That area is my main "trouble spot" so this should really help me out. Thanks.

  • amaZing Biceps

  • I'll try it right now!!

  • its.... its like... Your muscles have muscles,,,, :O

  • @666lordofabyss666 Muscleception

  • I don't like Jeff's chest.

  • @RoyWriter Jeff's chest dont like you either hehe

  • I never got anything out of the Arnold press. Have you tried the Larry Scott press? That's a kicker!

  • @Tallmark1 Scrap all of them! Have you tried the Chuck Norris press? Once you've tried that, you'll never go back!
