Remember when they had one camera mounted in the back of a Blazer? I remember a guy answering the "man on the street" interviews they did on one station. He was asked what he thought about the roadside speed camera. He said, "It has nothing to do with enforcing the law, they only want the money." That was 20 years ago. He was right. They saw how much money they could make off of one, and then they started spending your money. It's the public's fault they have cameras everywhere now. Fight it!

photographing a speeder does nothing. it does not stop the speeding case until a month later when you get the notice. you get photographed and keep speeding, this does NOT protect the people.. psychically stopping the speeder(via cop) stops the speeding immediately vs redflex does not stop the speed case. picture is taken and there is nothing to change the speed of a vehicle. and they will keep speeding until the notice, and even further on. just always someone wanting to make easy cash.

Many of the fixed cameras on the freeways are in 65mph zones. These cameras are not set up to trigger until it detects a vehicle moving at 11mph over the speed limit. What happens at these spots during high-volume traffic is you have a wall of traffic suddenly and quickly slowing down from 75 to 55, even 45. Now imagine a fully-loaded semi moving at 65 suddenly having a small car slow down in front of it.
