I see thai buddhist monks that have tattoos. Thai monks are the only monks who have them. Why are they allowed in thailand for monks?

@nayhomagirl - it depends on what sort of tattoo you're getting and for what reason. but yes there are different rules that go with different tattoos/tattoo masters. The rules you mentioned are some of the rules of Wat Bang Pra.

@wat3281 Theese tatoos come from unholy monks not allow to preech, its highly un buddhism to make this tatoos and every real monk will look down to you because its some stupid kind of fairytail belives - thai buddhists dont like this tatoos, its mostly made from people want to be cool ;)
