Maybe Logitech should spend more money on fixing G940 and work properly then spending money on advertising, first of all the throttle doesn't work on FSX, A10-C Warthog, X-Plane 10 and other sims
Popular mechanics reported something interesting on this setup. The Stick is actually supported by metal bearings, rather than a plastic base. Should make the thing a lot more durable/long lasting
After years of experience with Logitech I recommend being cautions with this one and not going with the hype. Your main concern should be axis play and poor sensors (potentiometers) which are both a black trademark of Logitech.
There are no pots in this stick as far as I understand. i think they use what the ms precision pro used back in the day which is a ball with a light sensor tracking the balls position. Either that or they might have HAL sensors which are no contact magnetic sensors. I heard somewhere that they didn't use pots, which is good. Cause yeah, the pots they've used in joysticks thus far have been absolute shit.
This is a completely different class of stick than they've made in the past though.
Buying same items from Saitek would cost you 400$, and you would miss alot of features compared to this. But IMO Saitek joystick looks(as far as look gets) more firm
mine works

I have purchased these for my new FSX rig. Should be amazing to use the Logitech G940 for flying!
