Haha thanks for the encouragement. I really want to, but it would cost too much money. This was my sophomore year, and I've got a while left, but I'm so far away from Daytona nationals.
For the future though i recomend using a blind fold for at least a fourth of your routine.
You should know though us Judges for the Competions only grade moves done from the time you enter the pad to when you request permission to exit. All other moves done after that time are not graded. Aslo, with your Awknoledgment of the crowd(the thumbs up and moral check at the end) you run the risk of being Disqualified.
A Garand that weighs 13.9 lbs? Although many people disagree that we don't have rifles that weigh that much. It's definitely more than 11 lbs, that's for sure. But it's cool. When I do my Solo in Nationals at AFA, then you can judge. =P
I can do this routine with a Garand as well. My school's JROTC uses Garands; it's just I decided to use my personal Daisy replica. All demilitarized rifles are 9 lbs across the board. Some Garands sure are a little heavier by a few ounces, but its the build and shape that gives it the much heavier feel.
Ill take your down-look as a pat on the back that I make spinning a full weight weapon look like a light weapon to you.
does that spring field weight as much as the demill m1?my school only have the m1s. im thinking about entering in an individual completion and it would be awesome if you could give me advise. because apparently your a bad ass at it!
Haha! Thanks! You should post up your freshmen. I've met some 9th graders that drill better than me, of course. They are rare but they are amazing.
Why don't you post yourself? I'm sure you are better. I use youtube to share fun things I do. You use Youtube trying to make other people feel bad. Haha, what a bummer!
thanks jeff. you did a kickass job on your solo. if my memory serves me right, you, jeff are the guy who dropped once or twice the saber, but by far your saber solo was most difficult in my opinion. great job to you too
it is exactly 8.5 lbs without a sling. in this video, i have a web sling attached, making the weight somewhere at +1 or 2 ounces. ever heard of a "daisy"? mines different because its abrasied and has a metal-brush look
Is that a 2pound rifle

Full weighted? Lol, I think it's a little fake. =P We use real M1 Garand's that were used in World War II no offense.

NoxFearxFreak 2 years ago
how much does a spring feild replica weigh?
imanoob4 2 years ago
Daisies are full scale replications, therefore they are a good 8.5 pounds.
pilotcs 2 years ago
Whoa xD
You are pretty good, very original in my opinion, although I'm not ADT expert (But ask me anything about UTD xDD)
Blah, I also went to Golden Bear this year, it's really bad having someone yell in your face xD

that rifle looks so light
Irockstretchies 2 years ago
that makes me feel special to know you think i handle my rifle well :]
8.5 lbs isn't very light to me. the even distribution on my rifle also makes me think an equally heavy, 8.5 lbs 1903a3 is easier to spin.
pilotcs 2 years ago
hey good job man that is too bad for your almost drop it probably would have put you above me
kaurifleman 2 years ago 2
nicely done. i really like how you spin it above your head while walking backwards at 2:31-2:35.
