  • A Lovely Bird :)

  • Mordecai should be his name. Only makes sense

  • Mordecai the young blue yay lulz

  • This is actually Mordecai.

  • SOOOOO Cute

  • Sure they're smart, they're part of the two smartest bird families. Corvids, which also include Crows, Ravens, Jackdaws and Mockingbirds. Right up there with Parrots.

  • I don't see rigbi

  • wow! beautiful birds! we have none in New Zealand /:

  • Shoulda named him Mordecai.

  • @darkria4 I found a lue jay and named him mordecai. :)

  • @HuntForWaffles <3 Cute.

  • Charlie looks like an asshole who's loud in the morning.

  • that's beautiful, i just moved to new orleans and developing the friendship with blue jays in the park. they know i'm gonna throw some peanuts soon once i come to the same spot :)

  • hmm blue jays and crows would start yapping when my cat was outside sadly my cat died in 2007

  • Charlie is cool, well done.

  • i dont think he likes peanutes :P haha nice vid :)

  • Wow, you must be special people for a bird to come to you like that and a pretty blue one.

  • Doesn't god have a pure an amazing imagination? he created a pure blue Bird. one would never think that a wild creature could be so blue, and so intelligent.

  • @CaiqueLover u should see the Hyacinth macaw there one of my fav. birds. U should search it on youtube.

  • Was the bird upset because you changed his name from Jay to Charlie?

  • Great! You are so lucky to have a tame free flying Blue Jay...

  • same family as Crow & Magpie believe it or not....

  • to long but cute

  • IT'S STARTING TO TRUST YOU. QUICK! RIP ITS HEAD OFF!

  • that is so cute:)

  • BLUE JAYS ARE NOT MEAN, Charlie is beautiful. They are brilliantly intelligent, like humans. Not their fault if the other birds can't keep up with them!

  • @sjlove2bird Towards other birds, yes.

  • love it

  • i was in my backyard yesterday and i have big one so i saw three littile babies runing and they have tiny wings they cant fly so i ran to them and i saw the mom looking for them so i took them where there nest is and i put them back ( i think the fell) and i left after five secound i was watching the mother came and saw her babies so the mother came to us in the window and start looking at us it was blue jay bird it was socute

  • LOL in the beginning, he was eating a cereal peice... i think i may be eating the same one

  • blue jays may be friendly to people but act more like a crow when it come to other animals, they are very mean to other birds.

  • @facemcnasty It's true :( We have a wide range of birds (sparrows, warblers, nut hatches, robins, etc), living in our backyard and they are bullies.

  • @spatzy Yeah, they are subspecies, I think, of the crow. Or they're in that family... Go to the cornell lab or ornithology, and search Blue Jay.

  • at my 4th birthday party we had a blue jay show up lol its like he knew me XD

he stayed around me and my family and friends the whole party and then visited for a short time the next day

im 17 now but that memory won't go away :) and i hope it never does

  • charlies cool!

  • iz he your bird also i liked pic. 3 the most

  • (part3)When anybody from my family is eating and we don't give him he climes up and takes it out our mouth and if he doesn't like it he hides it in a corner or puts it back in our mouth lol! When we drink water he gets on our sholders and while we drink he pocks his head and drink:)

Also when we want him to come to our arms we clap and he comes:)

the coment below is( part 2)

  • @cortesedna1 Thats so cute, Blue Jays are amazing birds, people are usually suprised to learn they are so friendly and smart :)

  • @cortesedna1 Video?

  • also i take him out side and put him on a branch and i go sit on the banch and he woun't fly away he doesn't like being outside at all because the wind pushes him and the weather is to hot in florida :)

when the sun hits him he doesn't move and he is so stressed out hes mouth is open and sounds like if he had asma. i open the door of my house he goes back in lol.

  • (part 1)i have a blue jay that walks all aroung my house and has his cage just for sleeping and drinking water. He enters and leaves when ever it wants he doesn't know how to fly and he eats evrything he is the most wonderful pet i have erver had because he is the only pet i had:)

  • Haha. He really love those peanus. :)

  • Ah ha! So these are the guys stealing my peanuts I leave for my neighborhood squirrels. I saw two this morning out on my porch.

  • the most lovable pet birds are the ones that still fly free and need no cages

  • I agree you with 100%. If only he would come back :(

  • im sure he will, saved a scrub jay from a murder of crows ripping him up he got better but then vanished for almost a year before I saw him and his two new fledglings again and his kids are even bolder around me than he was, often sitting on either of my feet.

  • @spatzy Oh, you don't see him anymore? That's kind of sad and too bad. I feed a whole family of Blue Jays in my front yard each morning and throughout the day, but can't get as close as you have or they fly off. Blue Jays and birds, in general, are so awesome and cute.

  • @fuzzydragon

give your tree hugging morality lectures a break.......

  • Between the subject matter and your presentation, I think that this is maybe THE best video on youtube!
