umm i am going to give u a tip, when a guinea pig just has a baby you are not supposed to pick it up. the mom will clean it and warm it up!!!

Thanks, but cavies/guinea pigs are actually not like most rodents - they don't mind if you handle their babies right after birth. I often pick up the most recently born baby and dry it off while the mom is giving birth to the next one. Sometimes momma piggies will birth one immediately after another and forget to clean the sac off, and one baby will suffocate. In most cases though, the momma piggy does do all the cleaning ;)

Thats why u should atleast have the father or another adult guinea to be present. it calms the mother down AND they will help, i remember oneof my guineas screaming like crazy so i woke up and she was having babies, the other girl guinea in the cage cleaned her babies and everything

Some sows (females) just realllly don't like other pigs. I've had one or two like that before.

like eachover at first buh keep them in a medium cage for a few weeks buh make sure they dont fight and they will b gud mine ended up having 2 babies born yesterday :D

Aw what a cutie. ^_^ Just found out my guinea pig is pregnant o.O we adopted her and yeah...I get to look forward to seeing some babies any day now! :D I can feel them kicking about in her belly.
