120 Minutes was a programme that MTV2 used to broadcast in the middle of the night in Britain. I don't know if they had it in other countries. It was back to back music videos - stuff that MTV2 would never play during the day. As far as I'm concerned MTV2 was dead as soon as it cancelled 120 Minutes - it was the only programme they had (in Britain, at least) that showed loads of low-tech, interesting or unusual videos by people who weren't even remotely famous that no other channel every played.

I learned to appreciate the knife with their album "silent shout" and I started listening to their older work, now it's one of my favourite bands of all time. God i love how they're one of the most rock 'n roll bands of our time, for them it's not just an image they have to hold high because their manager says so. Damn, they've written songs about incest, socialism/communism and female discrimination, I mean, how far can a band go to avoid mainstream success, they're fcking brilliant!

The lyrics seem to work as a script taken literally, so when she is singing about drinking cafe au lait they show a woman doing that. Especially 1:57 when they play the techno louder shows the radio being turned up louder.

This makes me think it is a student film. Also, Karin is trying to move away from representations of herself and somehow your regular girl in a tight dress and high heels strutting just doesn't seem of the Knife's caliber.Unless its an excellent drag queen ;-)
