If you a company driver (any company) the company pays for the fuel, and they also tell you where to buy it and how. Repairs? Same song and dance -- it's their truck, so they'll fix it (in shops of their choosing). All said and done, you're a truck operator capable of pre-tripping and post tripping and that's that.
im glad your enjoying your job.My husband bill has only back ac too,he works for southern redrigerated out of texarkana.Been driving for 13years and the first few were rough, take care viki
Oh wow - I was there in the Springfield, Ohio, Werner terminal in May 2007. This really brings back memories. And the tour of your truck likewise. The Big Recruiter in the sky knows why I had three trainers in a row last year who were from the X-Files. But why this wrenching nostalgia? Does it ever go away once you've driven these rigs? I even miss the lousy food vending machines. I got it B-A-D!!!
Well, I got a free shower with towel service, and we got my ThermoKing climate control engine to work, and Werner pays for the fuel that keeps it going. I'm enjoying my home made brownies and trail mix.
Thats one straite line of trailers !

The pleasure is mine. I hope it helps as we all seek to understand one another better. I feel honored that you've spent time with me. Thank you.

Does WERNER co. cover your fuel cost? Do they pay for fuel, repairs?? How does that work?

Your narrations about your new trucking career are interesting. They give me a new perspective when I see trucks on the roads.

I think those who've gotten to know me know that I tell it honestly the way I see it as I see it. So you're getting my first hand experience.
I really have enjoyed all the driving / hauling.
