Wow this is a disapointment. These guys were previously one of the best modern prog bands. I don't understand the choice that entailed their drummer and lead guitarist taking such a back seat. The vocals aren't even better! This was one of my favorite bands and after this release that is clearly below standard, I have to wonder if I lost one of my other bands. I was with these guys from the begining. Damn.

The instruments may not be as technical or crushing as before, but the songwriting and embellishments like synths and electronics have improved 100-fold. As for vocals, I consider Henrik to be a better vocalist than Torben, let along Jacob.
