Okay both of the new games take place in the same world but the two never connect. Final Fantasy 13 has Lightning (the chick in this video) as the main character while the Final Fantasy versus 13 follows around some prince or something. One is made with a chick character and the other with the guy. The only similarity is the world that they are on. Don't ask me why they deicded not to connect the two in anyway.
