  • Much respect for this man, his father was a policeman, he's from Europe, he didn't look like a rastaman at first glance, nobody would think he would do reagge music. But he overcome the stereotypes and is an amazing artist.

  • Nice pretend Jamaican accent,...... what a faker, this guy is the biggest impostor of all time....... pretend rasta " what if the next pope was a black man " what an idiot you can't be Catholic and a Rasta......he's trying to make out he comes from a poor background to gain some street cred .....he was never as poor as the Jamaicans he pay's to pretend to be his homie's in his ridiculous videos....worst reggae since Willie One Blood .... his real name is Alberta D'asshola

  • @TheSozMoulineuxNoosa He is living for 10 years in Jamaica. Ofcourse his accent will change, because he's around Jamaican ppl. My brothers went to the Dominican Republic for only a month and went they came back, I taught they were Dominicans(talked just like dominicans) and they didn't fake it!!

  • @TheSozMoulineuxNoosa You know why they respect him? Cause he came to jamaica with nothing. And he climbed the way up by himself starting with selling weed on the street. And i am happy jamaicans are not like americans. Americans are just racist's

  • Nice pretend Jamaican accent,...... what a faker, this guy is the biggest impostor of all time....... pretend rasta " what if the next pope was a black man " what an idiot you can't be Catholic and a Rasta......he's trying to make out he comes from a poor background to gain some street cred .....he was never as poor as the Jamaicans he pay's to pretend to be his homie's in his ridiculous videos....worst reggae since Willie One Blood

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

WHY HASN'T HE GOT AN ITALIAN ACCENT?

  • @lBeadz he was apparently raised on an the coast and had Jamaican friends and ended up moving there

  • @lBeadz Cause he's livin' in Jamaica

  • maybe i could do a song with britney spears, i lol'd so hard.

  • i love it man

  • his hat is INSANE

  • no dislikes, this man is the truth

  • alborosie is the fuckin man

  • he's more jamaican than the real jamaicans!!

  • @Gentible Only a non jamaican would say that. He is so not more Jamaican than real Jamaicans, he talks with an Italian Accent too. He has the Italian and Jamaican / Rastafari teaching in him. That is why he is so origianal.

  • @pbg98pbgpbg98pbg exactly thank you. still tho its not a faked patois because its not like he learned english first then broke it down. its the same way i know ppl that are brazilian but when they speak english they have authentic australian accents just cuz thats where they learned their english

  • what a min, he moved to Jamaica when he was 24 he's 33 right now , i can understand him speaking the laug. but i think thats a fake accent

  • @free2mention

alborosie him real jamaican. king albo been dere babylon. much respec albo. i very marijuana high mon. lions.

  • @free2mention

Being someone who studys languages, let me clear this up for you without at all be rude like most people would.

Alborosie has lived in Jamaica for over 10 years, and could NOT speak English before he moved there. He learned to speak Patois English by living AS a Jamaican IN Jamaica. Therefore, his accent is 100% authentic, as he is not someone like Jah Sun, another Reggae artist from California who simply "changed" his American accent to a Jamaican one.

  • you are so lame ...trying to make out this Faker is Legit .. Ya mon Albolognese runt ings inna Jamdung

  • @free2mention 2ND COMMENT:

Some people are artistically/linguistically gifted: Alborosie is the perfect example. It IS possible to learn a foreign language and speak it without an accent, and sound exactly like a native. It's rare, but it does exist. He's a musical genius, being that he plays 6 instruments (I think, or 5). For someone like him, learning English was probably very easy.

So just to make it clear again: Alborosie's accent is 100% authentic.

  • so what if hes white it shows dat not just black people can be jamaican, i just hate dose sterotypes tinking dat only black can be jamaican when deres lose of different races in jamaica just like any oder country

  • @123wooo456 Your hella dumb, he's from Italy he just moved to Jamaica

  • @SBGR13 i know tht,, ok i know what im onna about so stop contradicting me

  • I want a Jamacian Accent

  • A man is just a man

  • best reggae artist

  • i wonder how many years he has grown his locks, Great artist

  • funny sounding Italian

  • Lolage at ppl getting angry that his from Italy. Like it matters, he is doing what he loves and not many people can say that. It doesn't sound like his accent is fake because even the subtlest things about his speech sounds Jamaican.

  • @akka030 because food isn't free

  • the tough street life in the middle class of Sicilia...

  • @Raachen is he middle class ? because sicily isnt easy otherwise.

  • @dajohnnyboy252 If I understood him right, his father was a policeman - surely not an easy job in the homelands of the mafia. But he doesn't seem to be "from the ghetto" or something like that, so I don't understand why he talks about "the tough street life" in Sicily. I can imagine the crime rate in cities like Palermo is above italian average, but it's still Italy, not Jamaica or Brazil!? I don't want to claim I'm right, it's just my impression!

  • @Raachen O believe me it is tough, his brother was killed there , on the street ? avergae wage of when i talk to family there is 15 euros a day, very hot , i meen it has a lot of similarities with jamaica belive it or not. tourists never see the bad side of any country , just like the jamaican ghettos.

  • @Raachen well man, I think nobody cares about what is his class, but what his work is... I think an artist just represents everything he can see and feel... saying what you just said is like telling a painter not to paint anything, or not to take his ideas from of his head, how's he not gonna do what he is supposed to? bless!

  • @Raachen well man, I think nobody cares about what is his class, but what his work is... I think an artist just represents everything he can see and feel... saying what you just said is like telling a painter not to paint anything, or not to take his ideas from the world outside, a musician as an artist, has got the roll of showing what he thinks is true for him... it's like a photographer! how's he not gonna do what he is supposed to? bless!

  • blaze up the fire and stay alive!!

  • Proud

  • Alborosie like Bob Marley, he will become a legend. Look deep in his eyes as he's interviewed, humbled, tranquil, a very simple man in control....status quo does not exist for a Rastari man-learn something, ignorance will always keep you unhappy-but Ganja will help you meditate and you will be enlightened. Forget the status quo, lust and learn YOU and what is peacful to your mind, then you will fall in love with the universe....Peace & some Puerto Rican love.

  • Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil[a] spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. 3For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."
