@TanJianWei92 you have to remember u can only play games they are not really new! and not so high graphic requirements otherwise u get this message it will not work on an Virtual Machine. I only tested World of Warcraft and Runes of Magic and they worked.
@kritzel789 , thanks for your information , but when i play games like .. MapleStory .... ? LOL? That game isn't high graphic . And the game starts on 2003 . :S
@TanJianWei92 did u check the settings of your virtual machine? is 2d and 3d function activated? and did u installed the vmware tools correctly? i checked on the internet maple story should work i think cause its just only need an 1ghz processor and nothing more.... and dont forget to update Direct X : /
@kritzel789 , Yup it's fine now , after i did research in website . just get to the Virtual Machine folder and edit the .VMX file . But it still lags though .. 1536MB RAM , with Vmware graphic .. Actually mines is 9800GT .. and i split my host OS of Quad Q8400 to my Guest OS 2 Quad , So . 2 Quad each Host and Guest
@dzoo11 u have to install the vmware tools otherwise u got no graphic power and u just should check the prefecens of your virtual Windows that u got 2d and 3d rendering on... and remmeber u can't install an ATI or NIVIDA driver on ur virtual machine u can only install the vmware tools to get graphical function

@Alexbustos97 u just can only play games they don't need really high graphics.. games like grand theft auto will not correctly work/install.. i only tried World of Warcraft and Runes of Magic... if u got Linux than u should try Wine... and btw Parallels Desktop 4 for Windows and Linux.. could u give better virtualization performance than vmware... but your processor needs the VT+ technology from Intel u should check this bevor u install parallels 4
@Deimos230185 well you right but i only tested it out because i was sick of wine cause wow dosn't install correctly on my Linux machine i had always problems with Wine and Wow... at this time i was happy that vmware can handle with Wow i mean okay.. its not the best of graphic and so on but .. its quite good for me well it was.. today i got a Mac and i'm happier with that than with Linux thx for ur comment

Microsoft's Virtual PC and XP MODE SUCK! No game will work because of the 16-bit virtual graphic card! But with VM Player I can at least play IL-2!

@kritzel789 this is what Wine (or Crossover Games) is for :) WoW, Starcraft 2, Civ V run pretty much out of the box .. full speed.

this video is BS. you can hee that the user started WOW on his linux while the vmplayer started running windows xp virutal machine.
If im wrong prove me wrong with some steps.
