  • if i have a big ass should i even do squats and this excersise lol ?? am a guy thou and yeahh fkn the mroe i do squats the moree my ass gets bigger am tryin to catch up with the legs but it ain't workin any tip anyone

  • Be careful not to go down too far, and be sure to keep the back straight. Concentrate on feeling a stretch in your hamstrings and you will be on the right path. I started these a few weeks ago and it has increased my flexibility immensely!

  • Excellent alternate to using the bar. Barbell works great for these too...

  • this exercise does'nt exercise my legs, well my torso is under a lot of stres

  • Stiff leg deads work the hamstrings because the hams insert at the hip, rotating the hip joint will expand and contract the hams. The back should remaim arched during the movement. Correctly performed stiff deads should leave your hams sore the next day but no soreness in the back. The only back work here should be isometric in keeping the back arched. Buddy here in the video has a rounded back and probably winds up with a sore back the next day.

  • No. I don't understand why people consider stiff lead deadlifts to work hamstrings. I mean they do, but that's also like saying chest flyes is a great workout for your biceps.

  • then what do stiff legged deadlifts really target? their a compound exercise that targets mainly the hamstring.

  • Thanx for the video. Just like to ask whether this exercise is enough for building hamstrings from home.

  • finally someone doing deadlifts. YEAH BUDDY!
