WARNING : Any student who is thinking of approaching a company called the "Institute of Independent Colleges & University Teachers (ICUT)" for help with private tuition --DON'T,because ICUT's Director, Dr. Vincent McKee, is a throughly dishonest individual who'll ask for your credit card details and will withdraw money WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORISATION OR CONSENT. McKee used to have a British Telecom internet connection but they cut it off when students complained and BT identified McKee as a SCAMMER
Word of warning if they still collect "caution money". You won't get all of if back even if you didn't do anything. Watch out in the city centre as student bashing was quite a popular passtime of some of the local "hard men" I had a good time at Coventry Uni. but in hindsight you should choose a different Uni. as Coventry isn't particularly nice.
I stayed in Priory Hall in the early 90's. The canteen was absolutely awful with tasteless food that gave some belly aches. I'm surprised the tower is still standing. Checkout the scratchings on the lift doors on floor 12 - that was us (I doubt they've changed the doors).
Dunno about anywhere else but Priory Hall is a proper shithole that keeps getting broken into. Coventry's nightlife is shite aswell and they need to cook the bacon and sausage for longer its basicially raw. I've uploaded a video that gives a truer representation of Priory Hall, have a look.
