You can always record HD in sony and it will make it loads better..

@goldfield222 very i had mine and i made allot of good machinimas with it but it broke last week probaly I stepped on it cuz it was on the ground all the time but you canfind it prety cheap on amzon just you should get a better video editing software if you are making anything besides filing a party or something you can just get the red one i never had problems with it out of 10 i give it a 8 and it is very easy to use not complicating at all

why? you cant record with hdmi over the dazzle you just need some settings on the pc that has nothing to do with the tv

can you record hd with an inspiron 1420 laptop?inspiron core duo 1.5ghz 2 gigs of ram and integrated vid card..so can i?if not can i record with laptop then pass to my intel i7 920 desktop and make it hd or will it still lag?

Dazzle Question

I am also using the Dazzle DVD Recorder, and I was wondering how I can record with good quallity sound and video wise.

Good quality, the sound works great, but you can't see anything, because it's so... pixilated?

Better/Automatic quality, the video looks great, but the sound lags and try to cut/paste in WMM doesn't work. The sound is fast and some points and really slow in others.

Any advice would be helpful. =)

1 question do you ,when in pinnacle studios, "hit" make movie if so that may be your problem because when you publish it lowers the quality

I use Windows Movie Maker, but I fixed the problem. :]

It was a loose connection with the sound plugs. But thanks for the help, I'll remember it if I use Pinnacle Studios.

You need one duel-ended RCA cable (so each end has red white and yellow plugs on them) and you need 3 splitters

If you're in america you can get Y-Splitters for like $5 each but in Canada the only ones I could find costed me $30

If you have a dazzle install Pinnacle Studio 10 and go to the capture card settings and look for "capture format" then choose mpeg both 1/2 and 4 look fine
