  • DUMB DRIVERS ARE DUMB.

I just heard that some americans does not know about

shifting to neutral won't really make you work your brake.

I do not wonder, it's only Americans having problem.

  • Maybe that's why their logo is "Moving Forward... AND NEVER STOPPING!"

  • 0:00 to skip ads, thumbs up for everyone's enjoyment

  • @racerx8228 just get ad block

  • TOYOTA SUPRA FTW!!!

  • хуйня

  • OMG really!? stop hating on toyota, American Motors are loving this!! cashing in big whit this Recall thats been blown out of portion

    blown out of portion

    blown out of portion

    blown out of portion

    blown out of portion

    blown out of portion!!!

  • dude that happens to woman drivers all the time... you ever look up fail woman drivers on youtube

  • Send Toyota and Honda back to Japan where they came from

  • how can car manufactory have 0% issue?

Look at Microsoft windows, it upgrades many times year by year.

Every country look at this big issue, they will very carefully to invest in USA.

Let US people "buy American", other countries do not do business with USA , it is not good news for them , but it is also not good news for USA. They got more benefit from doing business with other countries.

I do not trust USA. It is unfair game for other countries.

  • @dahuai2008 You're a fucken idiot. Toyota is a Japanese company.

  • How to throw the car into reverse with the car 100mph(160km/h)?

    Kidding?

It's impossible to do that without god LoL

Yes, Smith you need God and Psychiatrist!!!

These accidents and problems are due to DRIVER'S HUMAN ERRORS and not mechanical failures.

Furthermore GM had recalled a huge number of cars which are many times higher than Toyota did.

In short, GM and govt have no choice but to go begging Toyota for money in the name of USA PROPAGANDA!!!

Shame on you USA for being so greedy!!!

  • General Motors largest recall was 6.7 million automobiles. Toyota has recalled 3.8 million for wireharness catching on fire, 1.4 million for steering wheel problems, and 6.4 million for unintentional accleration. Toyota has recalled over 11 million cars which is by far less then GM's largest recall. So I dont know what your talking about or where you get your information from. At least GM recalls right after they find the problem while Toyota waited 3 FUCKING years which lead to 155 DEATHS!

  • Hi there, Lander4545,

What was the name of technical school you said you graduated from, I mean not the one you mentioned in small public school in sleepy town in western ny.

    LMAO

  • @liveitupalways: Hey!, hows that "Toyota feeling" for u lately? Been watching the congressional hearings? Toyota has been shitting on it's customers just as I said they were! Keep living in that delusional world of yours! This isn't about an individuals education;it has more to do with an educated consumer of which you are most definately not!

  • liveitupalways05: Oooh, oooh am I suppose to believe your closing in?? If you only knew how far off you are!! Now can I laugh my ass off??

  • @liveitupalways: An engineering degree is an engineering degree no matter where you achieve it! It still pays 6 figures! The educated assholes are the ones that are still paying back there student loans as there first grand child is being born because they just had to attend Harvard or Yale!!

  • Complimentary no charge cruise control

  • Toyota should sue for libel!!!!!

  • I understand that if buy a new Toyota the federal government has ordered dealers to administer last rites!

  • oh shit!

many of these Toyota cars are made by Americans!

    uh oh!

  • @jillanderson

    oh shit !

many of these toyota cars power-train parts are design and made in japan .

    oh shit again !

these shit its happening in asia and europe were the cars sold there are not made in america .

    UH OH TO YOU !!!

  • why is this begining to look fishy? it looks like a set up... something to bring down the world's largest, and most reliable automaker in order to give a boost to GM and Ford. it's politics at it's best!

  • @i2slick4u20

Yeah, and it just HAPPENS to have 2,000 reported cases and a few deaths to boot!

Yup, sounds like a political motive to me. Open your eyes. People died because of this defect.

  • @i2slick4u20: Don't you get it? The perception of Toyota's "superior" quality has been a big lie!

  • I just took my mom to the Toyota dealership... She's getting a brand new 2010 Camry... Oh how I love Toyota!

  • @2i2slick4u20: Don't tell me,your the executor of her will? May she rest in peace!

  • @ lander4545... Lol that was funny... My mom laughed when ii made her read this... Toyota has the world's best safety rating dude... Ford Expedition killed way more good people, but it did not get any media coverage. Right now Ford is recalling the Mecury Hybrids because of deaths related to brake failure, but the media does not cover this! Way to go GM (GOVERNMENT MOTORS)!!

  • @i2slick4u20: You THOUGHT Toyota had the worlds best safety rating "dude"! You need to recearch current events 'cause you couldn't be more wrong! Toyota has been lieing and covering up there saftey defects for years. They have been paying bribes to government officials so the N.H.S.T.A. administration (Govt.) wouldn't force Toyota into recalls for there saftey defects! Ford VOLUNTARILY (unlike Toyota) recalled 17,000 2010 Ford Fusions and Mercury Milan hybrids for spongey brakes and NO deaths!

  • The reason why Ford/Mercury Hybrids didn't get the media attention that Toyota did was because Ford followed the law and contacted the N.H.S.T.A. when they offered there voluntary recall. The brake pedals on the Ford/Mercury's would "drift" down about an inch between the transitioning from electric to hydraulic brakes. This was fixed with a software upgrade. On the other hand Toyota showed no respect for U.S. saftey regulations and didn't order a recall when they knew there were problems!

  • @ lander4545... ii don't have shares in toyota, but ii know a good car when ii see one. and that 2010 camry is a good car... my neighbor drives the 2009 tundra and my cousin drives the 2009 corolla... we've never had any problems... they get serviced on time and are fuel efficient... my bestfriend has the new Chevy Tahoe from GM and boy that crap drinks a lot of gas and spends 99% of it's time broken down on the highway or sitting in at a repair shop! FACT

  • @i2slick4u20 What was the Ford Expedition recalled for?!?!?

  • @ LANDER4545 I'm glad you asked... it seems everyone forgot that fateful year when Ford killed thousands of motorists in flip over accidents and passed the blame on to Bridgestone and blamed it on the tires... Even after they changed tire supplier the death toll continued to rise!! Boy ii love how some of you suffer from selective amnesia (A tendancy to forget things when it's convinient to you)!!

  • @i2slick4u20: L.M.A.O. I just psychoanalyed you to see what you know and it 'aint much! Kid you really out to do some research first before you spout off! The recall was for the Ford Explorer NOT the Expedition. The tires were Firestones and NOT Bridgestones! There was nothing wrong with the Explorers! The problem was with the tires seperating and blowing out! Firestone would not issue a recall but Ford did at there expense costing them billions!

  • @ Lander4545... YOU IDIOT... BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE IS THE SAME DAMN COMPANY! MY BROTHER WORKS THERE AND WE GOT SHARES IN THE COMPANY TOO!

  • i2slick4u20:Thank you moron! Got ya again! The tires on the recalled Ford Explorers were FIRESTONES which is a subsidary OWNED by Bridgestone of Japan! Thus making the tires on the Explorers FIRESTONES! Hello! Is anyone home?he Japanese propaganda machine is alive and well! Have you ever considered using that gray matter in between your ears for something other than farting? You are a typical diversionist;pushing Toyota's"quality" while they were shitting on you! Do you sit lower in the seat now?

  • @ LANDER4545: Youre one freaking idiot... Bridgestone was an American Company. It was bought by Japanese investors after it went bankrupt following the Ford Expedition saga. You imbecile please educate yourself before making a complete fool of yourself on Youtube. Im a business law graduate student. I know my shitt!!

  • @i2slick4u20: You can't be this stupid!! Bridgestone has always been a Japanese company! It was founded in Japan in 1930!! Bridgestone bought out Firestone in 1988!! And for the third time the Firestone tire recall involved the Ford EXPLORER not the Expedition!! And quit bull shitting, you ARE NOT a bussiness law graduate!! You dropped out of high school didn't you??

  • @ Lander4545... LOL...No silly... check your records. Im a recipient of the Pepsi Co scholarship which allowed me to receive my BS from Rutgers University I am now on a partial scholarship at Seton University School of Law So while youre sitting on Youtube arguing about Toyota and their recall, Im busy typing a paper based on the topic Affirmative Action Vs Managing Diversity. So goodnight lil kid I got a lot of work to do!

  • @i2slick4u20:Sounds like any education you could recieve is based on the infamous minority dumbing down process! (you had a free ride)!Let me help you on your paper.Affirmative Action and Diversity have caused nothing but divisiveness.Hiring based on these quota's have cost corporations billions in lost productivity and technological advances. These programs have solved nothing! You do not have the intellect for Rutgers or Seton. I've read your posts! Now go kiss your mommy nite, nite little man!

  • @lander4545 sorry to disappoint you but although I am Dominican, my family is pretty well off. Weve never applied for, or qualified for governments assistance. In case you cant do the math, this family earns almost $200,000 annually. So dont stereotype and assume were on welfare. And for your information I had a 3.67 g.p.a at Rutgers and a 3.711 at Seton Hall. You are overtly racist my friend so our conversation is over! btw grandma pays my tuition cash. no student loans or financial aid!!

  • i2slick4u20The truth does not equate to racism. But just by you playing "the race card" YOU are the racist! .You are a loud mouthed spoiled piss pot who runs his mouth on Youtube and has earned nothing for himself! As a Dominican you have already recieved government assistance. That's the way the rules are set up! When you fill out an apllication you sure as hell don't apply as caucasion do you?The rest of your life is a free ride in some way shape or form! You will always be a quota hire!Enjoy it!

  • @Lander4545... are you part of the KKK? You sure sound like it! And get out of my business... dam!!! if i am getting a free ride... then what will you say about some of you junkies that are living in the trailor parks snorting on cocaine all day??

  • @i2slick4u20: Life is pretty simple kid. Quit going on youtube and lieing your ass off and no one will bother you!

  • @12slick4u20: You are such a liar! You first tell me that you earned a Pepsi scholarship that paid your tuition and now when it's convenient for your argument you say your grandmother paid for everything! A Pepsi scholarship is FINANCIAL AID!! There is NO truth to any of your nonsense! Hence:"i2slick4u20" You are such a loser!

  • @lander4545 ....a Pepsi scholarship is an award that comes with a one time payment of $3,000. It is given based on academic excellence. My total tuition costs for the 4 years is $58,000. The $55,000 balance was paid for in cash, by my beloved grandmother. May her soul rest in peace.

  • @isslick4u20: Toyota,Honda,Firestone (which became junk when the Japenese bought them out),Bridgestone all examples of poor Japenese quality but fools like you can not seem to get enough! I noticed all of the Toyota's in your family are new! What happened can't get 100,000 miles out of them??

  • @ LANDER4545: Youre one freaking idiot... The Toyotas in my family are new because we all switch from Pontiac Transam, a Dodge Ram and a Ford Focus all waste products of GM. We love our new Toyotas. Wish we could buy the whole fleet. My nephew has a Nissan Altima Nissans and Hondas are great too Anything but GM and FORD are highly recommended by me. By the way I was born in Florida and raised in New Jersey....

  • @i2slick4u20: I give up, you win! As it turns out your not to "swift"!! Congressional hearings against Toyota start tomorrow, hope you enjoy the fire works!! Incidently asshole you were born in Florida and RAISED by you MOTHER!! L.M.A.O.!!

  • @i2slick4u20: Try using the term "selective memory"! It makes more sense! And talking about selective memory it seems as though you have already decided not to include all of Toyota's current safety defects into your memory banks! What's up with that? Do you realise how many Toyota ownners have had repairs done to there vehicles at there expense that should have been covered under these recalls! Wait till the congressional hearing against Toyota start next week! The shit is going to hit the fan!

  • @i2slick4u20 ford should recall the mercury monarch for tires

  • I have an American car and I am proud of it.

  • @trqmj

Good for you. Be sure to pack some proud mittens and some proud road flares. Maybe think about getting a proud AAA membership.

  • lol @ trqmj

  • Here's a bit more of my point:

I do machine design and machine safety guarding (including code compliance checks). No matter how many locks, buzzers, strobe lights and signs we put up, operators should consider themselves solely responsible for their own safety. Automobiles are no different. Shame on Toyota if they missed due diligence by a mile. But, this is not about a wheel falling off; it's about an engine revving at the wrong time. Any licensed driver should know how to overcome this.

  • CommentClown > "Any licensed driver should know how to overcome this."

Not bad, CommentClown - not bad at all.

  • Good or bad, it's true. If you get behind the wheel of a car and you're not confident with how to control the motion of the vehicle in all directions. For the sake yourself and everybody else, move to the passenger seat.

  • Yeah, I can see that - but I really don't want to have to resort to running a piece of string through the firewall - tied to the coil.

    LOL.

  • Now you're getting the picture. I was thinking of a hole through the floor like on the Flintstones!

So, with the technical problems being what they are with the Toyota's, I'd likely opt not to drive one. If the driver can't put a car in neutral at their free will, we have an unacceptable level of control.

I'll bet we'll see much worse to come. Drafting used to be learned over years as an apprentice under a sr. designer. Now anybody with 10 hours of AutoCAD training is a car designer. Sad.

  • CommentClown > "If the driver can't put a car in neutral at their free will, we have an unacceptable level of control."

That's a core statement. One the president of Toyota needs to understand. If a driver has the capability to do that - he or she will have control over their life in the vehicle.

The president's problem would be in PR.

How the Hell do you market a car line while slipping in the statement "Toyota's go into Neutral any time you like!"?

Not quite as good as "Oh what a feeling!"

  • Well said.

Though, I still see "intermittent wipers" as one of the top 10 features on just about every new car. They seem to think that that's an option. Maybe the domestics should cash in on this and start to advertise the 'anytime neutral' option.

  • JAP CRAP!

Always buy Russian or North Korean built vechicles.

  • @japantruther

    Here come the 'truthers'. Hilarious!

What happened to the occupants is awful. Now let's leave that out of the discussion.

Every driver needs to know, that any car can accelerate without driver input. Lot's of reasons why. It sucks, but we deal with it.

I saw this same thing on Rescue 911 15+ years ago. Driver panics and doesn't think to put car in neutral or turn car off. Argue about the mechanical/electrical all you want... I vote for driver training!

  • CommentClown > "Every driver needs to know, that any car can accelerate without driver input. Lot's of reasons why."

    Really?

As I've only owned 35 vehicles and spent the last six decades driving both domestic and import cars from oval window Beetles to blown Corvettes, please feel free to educate my ignorance as to what might make a car accelerated without the driver's input.

  • @DarwinsFriend

    Undesired operation...

Mechanical: 1984 Cavalier throttle linkage bar got caught on choke linkage bar at full throttle. I use this example because it happened to me 10 years ago.

Electrical: Just about any modern car with a fly by wire throttle sensor... You're at the mercy of the component, the wiring and the software. The sky's the limit on possibilities.

The point is that drive train control should be built into driver training, not something you get from the 6 o'clock news!

  • clown- Mate, the issue of the family in California with the police officer is an example of why you are wrong. toyotas are not designed that way. The owner, R.I.P., tried to thrust the car into neutral but it wouldn't give way. This is how toyotas are designed.

toyota has serious issues and toyota is not handling them correctly.

  • Exactly. Nail on head.

  • President of Toyota shall explain what is going on.

  • fly- The president of toyota will do as all japanese males do, he will try as they have up until this point, shift blame.

It is very typical of them to do so. Expect him to continue their tradition of diverting.

  • This lie runs deep. The dependence upon various electronic systems may have gone a bit too far, I'm thinking.

The dealer could care less about making profit on the initial sale of the vehicle. The pressure to rape the customer afterward has gotten Toyota to this point.

No one within the corporation is going to fall on his sword.

  • Well I guess Ill buy the Honda!!!!

  • I will never buy another Toyota again.

  • Get HONDA!! FTW!! its safety and relibility wise but not as good as the toyota body but hey it wont kill you... Haha lol

  • Korean Car maker has better quality than japanese car makers.

Toyota knew about this problem ..they hid it from customers.

this is like a terrorist. act..killing youself and others..worst car maker in the world

  • What even they said " Toyota " is the best

and have excellence responsibility. ... more than others. They are all over the world and they will be the one. They do take responsible what they did. Better than blame to other thing (like the one who did)..... shame on ......

  • If the pedal does get stuck just put the car in neutral by pushing the shifter, you do not even have to press that little button on the shifter to do this, it is a safety mechanism. Have a nice day.

  • Who is going to put "neutral" when the pedal gets stuck while driving? lol

  • Should you stop if a toyota is following you

  • Trading Toyota vehicle for GM vehicle is like selling your bachelor degree for high school diploma. No matter what, I will not quit Toyota. American vehicles are not reliable. They are made to be used for just few years and have it broken down so as to renew your car loan.

  • @lollypopomololayahoo

Then you're a fool. A blind moron with brand loyalty love goggles on who is too thick to see what's happened here.

They just recalled over 2 MILLION vehicles! Six months ago, they recalled ANOTHER 1 million vehicles, and last year, they recalled YET ANOTHER 1 Million vehicles!!

I can't think of ANY auto maker in the world that has such a shitty-ass track record. But hey, if you want to keep jumping in front of the grim reaper, then be my guest.

  • I can't blame you for calling someone a fool especially when you are displaying the way you're being brought up. You can go ahead and have heart attack . Once again, Toyota remains the best.

  • Hahaha! The "best," eh?

Yes, an 8 million car recall makes them "the best." Let's not even get into the fact they weren't even anywhere near the top 5 in JD's best quality car companies.

    But yeah...they're the best.

See you in 6 months, when Toyota recalls ANOTHER 1 million vehicles because the wheels start falling off. Hahaha!

  • AMEN!

  • Toyota didnt stop production, the government made them. And DAMN Erica Hill is a BABE! Buy a GM.

  • No one got hurt .Remember when Ford had problems with tires, people got killed and they blame on Bridgestone.I like the way Toyota handle it .I always have Toyota and i always will

  • And i just heard toyota is suspending production of its most popular models. I say buy Ford or GM

  • Oh but I thought Toyota's were soooo reliable? Yeah my ass. Get a GM.

  • Glad I bought a Honda instead.

  • drive an audi quattro, its better than this rice cookers lol

  • I wonder how many Ford, Chevy and Dodge vehicles needed recalls before "recalls" were mandated.

  • @armaan97 I agree because those american cars are nothing but trash! Cute on the outside and a hot mess on the inside!

  • I've figured out what to do.....REMOVE THE FUCKING MATS. Wow, I must be in line for the nobel prize now.

  • The only problem with that is the mats really aren't the problem. That was toyota trying to cover up this deadly issue.

  • good time to have a bogus accident and blame totyota for cash, you can bet they will be investigating the hell out of these incidents

  • they say it's floormats, I've heard it's the computer.

  • Yeah if it where the floor mats other manufactures would be having the same issues. Toyota has started to admit that it isn't a floor mat issue. Sadly people have been killed while they tried to cover up the issue by saying its floor mats.
