  • @enobgznih I also can not find the BLEND TOOL. is this because of the Adobe Version? Is there a different tool now that has the same effect? I have CS5.

  • @TheLungpipes found it never-mind. Its just below the eyedropper or sampler tool on CS5.

  • Estás un poco flipao... pero eres un máquina! 5/5

  • omgawd you are genius!

    thank you so much!

  • Nice tut, is what i needed!

  • you're amazing

    5 stars

  • Brilliant U r a genius

  • very nice tutorial ! this realy opens many doors.

  • I'll bet you have never taught anything, because you need to slow down when explaining things. You act like you will run out of time, by speeding through your explanations... SLOW DOWN... Granted that people can stop the video and replay it, but it would be much better when explaining, if you went slower. As a tech support person, I find that people grasp my concepts better if I go slower when explaining how to do something. It is not a race...

  • I need help. I click on any tool and all i get is a hand that i can drag the original box with but i cant use any tools! help! thank you! :)

  • Great !! thank you !! :)

  • Thanks tutvid, i have learned many from you, and im now making website using dreamweaver and CSS following your tutorial, soon to be publish.

  • quality another one in the bank :)

  • gotta problem. once i make the strokes and go to use the blend tool, the little x shows up beside me cursor and i cannot use it on the anchor points or at any point on the stroke itself. ive done this tutorial before but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get around that stupid little x. VERY frustrating

  • got it finally nevermind lol

  • I Love your tutorials!! i'm beginner and i want to learn all your tuts!!!! thanks for sharing!!!

  • hey i got a question, i cant get to saturate that thing. i can seem to find that option (7:45)

Desaturate? control Shift? i don get it... i press and nothing came out help please

  • I have a question: wat r vectors?

  • Vectors are lines between two coordinates. They do not vary in quality when increased or reduced in size as they are re-drawn based on those coordinates. They are the alternative to raster graphics, e.g. bitmaps and jpegs which are in essence a grid map of differently shaded pixels.

  • brilliant explanation, cheers.

"brevity is the heart of levity".

  • lol?

  • Other strange names...

    Because "Glowing Ribs" isn't strange.

  • Great tutorial ! just wondering if you can do a tutorial on that picture in the beginning that you showed us

  • :O wow awesome ur my hero :3

btw can u make some tutorial how u made ur intro it makes me thinking everytime i see it

  • Why dont you just step and repeat in photoshop ?

Maybe an idea for your next tut i dont think you have done one on that yet

  • You can also achieve a similar affect on photoshop using scripts though ;) However its not as easy to edit in the end.

  • Yeah, and it's not vector.

  • true, when producing it in photoshop it isn't a vector. and also its not a very quick way either. But nethertheless an interesting way. Can produce some nice patterns with it as you can transform and transpose the shape more in the steps than you can do with this illustrator way.

  • fun tutorial....

  • awesome.. i thought it was so much harder.

  • do you have a fan page in facebook?

  • mmm.. bbq ribs.. lol.. anyways good tutorial..

  • my college tutor teach me how to use blend (ya, i predicted you will use blend in the beginning) but didn't combine with vector and fade (the end part)...

anyway, thank, your tutorial is best!

  • cool stuff

  • is this on a mac or windows? if it's on a mac what version? i ask cause i'm thinking of getting a mac but need to know how well PS will perform
