I agree with Superawesome, alot of people find it more complicated to do it the way you do and i am one of them, i think it's alot more benifical for people to learn the "change the % into a fraction" way so it would be .55 x 40 = 22 wich makes the problem SO MUCH EASIER, alot less work and thinking and the same answer.
