「大きな古時計」は私の大嫌いな歌で、耳を覆いたくなります。な­ぜだか良く判りません。

多分「今はもう、動かない」なんて何処にも唄っていないじゃない­ですか。唄っているのは　But it stopped short　Never to go again,　それは突然止まってしまって、どうしても動かない　この歌で一番大事なところを作為的にか誤訳しています。こんな詩­聞きたくない、と感じているらしいのです（自己分析）。ところが­、津軽海峡を聞こうと買ったCDにこの歌があって、初めて聞いた­瞬間からメズマライズ（mesmerize）されてしまいました­。あんなに嫌いな歌だったのにと、自分でも不思議です。

車に乗ったときはエンドレスで聞いていますので、その内アンジェ­ラと合唱する事になると思います。

いや、どうしても一緒に歌いたい。こんな良い歌だったとは、アン­ジェラに教えて貰うまで知りませんでした。

For me, Ken Hirai's version is more beautiful, maybe because his voice is softer and more powerful. But i love this version too. =)

This song is kinda creepy how real is it for me... My Grandma and Grandpa has this anniversary clock, one that only had to be wound once a year, that worked forever, as long as I can remember. After my Grandpa died though, it hasn't kept time at all...
