from doing a fair bit of research i believe that song was written by the male actors who were in the car especially for the movie, i am lead to believe they sat and wrote it whilst on the set filming. brilliant song.

I love the movie. The scene I do not like is when the Wongs are singing the Wanderer at the party for Richie. They wouldn't sing another gangs song I do not think. But all in all a great movie. I saw it in 1979 in San Francisco.
