News flash on being "locked in stores after closing": EVERY retail outlet that closes and has a post-close zone "locks people inside" after the store closes. It is for everyone's safety. No one can easily get in, you cannot go out without everyone being around, and thus a low chance of anyone getting hurt.

When I worked for Target, they did this. That is part of why I switched to Walmart: our stores in Memphis are 24 hours, which means no closing, no lock in..

Wal-mart is a preditory retailer. They move into neighborhoods and bring air, light and sound pollution, increased traffic and low wages. The send American manufacturing jobs to China where workers get pennies an hour, have to live in barracks and have no job safety standards.

Low prices aren't worth the harm they inflict on economy, the environment and the world. Buy from local merchants. Buy a little less but buy smarter.
