im charles, i saw gnr 20 years ago and it was good . i just saw them last week and it was incredible , just plain awesome . axl is right there at the top with elvis . dj ashba is on fire as well as the rest of the band . its a must see show . i hope they work on a future project cause this guys are the best. please keep rockin

I'm Charles I saw gnr 20 years ago and it was great . I just saw gnr last week and it was amazing just incredible. it brought the wild kid inside of me back. Axl is the man and he's right there at the top with Elvis . Everyone in the band is terrific . Dj ashba is on fire . Really hope they get to work on a new project. My favorites live and let die and Chinese democracy . It's a must see show . Keep on rockin!!!!!!!!

I don't know if this is good or not. I saw Guns back in '91. They were so good it was unreal. Again in'93.  To me this doesn't even sound like Axl. It's so different I can't even say whether it's good or bad

I see him playing the song on the piano very clearly during the performance. I guess that leaves alot of credit to your comment about the "cover band" bullshit too. If you can't see and can't hear shut the hell up. DJ, Bumble and the rest of the musicians are amazing and just as good as the original. AXL will always be AXL= the best there is!

I used to talk crap about this being a cover band. Now I realize that Axl's voice was what made GNR. Ive seen Velvet and they sucked. Bumblefoot and Ashba kick ass!!

I am 34 and this was the first time to see GNR. It was all i had hoped for and more. The funny thing is Axl went on at 10pm. My wife and I were running from the parking lot and a scalper sold me 3rd row seats for 50 bucks and my tix. I was lucky Axl was early. The band played with so much enthusiasm. Axl was as genuinely happy it seemed. 12,000 strong were with him all the way.

@spencercece I saw the 3rd incarnation of Guns, two shows after Izzy quit, with Matt Sorum. And I sat first row. Axl's voice has changed, and the current members are nothing else but a cover band.I followed this band from the early days of Appetite, at first I hated them and thought that they all looked like cartoon characters. But his voice was thicker and less nasaly than it is now. Don't get me wrong, the music is alright, but it's not the original. I want the original lineup back.
