Awesome car! and it is brushed, so much better I find. The brushless are too much money, along with the lipo, and there is less control. Brushless is just too much for most vehicles that I see.
Bit of both, the motor is hand wound brushed, the battery is Ni-Mh. This buggy need the best of kit to perform. I put a mormal modified motor and a Ni-Cad battery it was poor. Hand wound motors are expensive but worth it as you can service them. Check my other vids as this is the old motor and battery.
it's kinda difficult to get the B4 to do wheelies since its built for stable and traction. Ur gonna need to shift ur battery towards the engine and have a powerful and high torque engine. i tryed it with mines LOL
I have a 2 cell lipo in my b4 with a 17.5 turn Novak brushless and an Orion 13.5 turn brushless and I can get wheelies easily out of both off the line. I could flip it over with no problems with either one.
Not had it on a track, but this buggy has an extreme level of grip for a 2wd. Handling is perfect. Handles a lot like a 21 engine nitro buggy. Been mistaken for 4wd by friends. Hope this helps.
will this rwd buggy do good with 4dw buggys

@mh509 cant see why not. Its considered the best 2wd buggy in the world.

Maximo park books from boxes.

is it because of the 2 cell lipo doing the job most
or is it because the brushless motor?
those must cost alot for them 2

rcguy95 3 years ago
Well worth it, but good electrics are a must.
DEK431 3 years ago
no nitro is better. More fast!
nlikos2007 2 years ago
what are you talking about? Obviously you haven't seen a 14.4v electric car on full speed... do your research first before you start bagging!!

@jackienwoody Nitro engine with supercharged will beat it! KICKASS!

Sorry for the late comment but does this thing wheelie with a 13T in it?
Limerick91 3 years ago
Not with this motor, but i got a hand wound in it now. Maybe wheelies an inch but then my tires are worn now, should try it with new tread.
DEK431 3 years ago
Oh right, cool, is this thing good for outdoor bashing compared to a Losi XXX-CR or an Ultima RB5 or something? Im really tempted to get one :)
Thanks.
Limerick91 3 years ago
Never tried them but this is considered the best buggy in the world.
DEK431 3 years ago
Hmm, ok sounds good :P
Sorry, one more thing, theres the normal version of this, the FT version and the RS version, is the RS mainly just for racing indoors?
Thanks.

Dunno, this is the stealth buggy, came as a kit. Perfect for tarmac, grass etc good ground clearance but fully adjustable suspension on this one.

Cool thanks a lot.

i got a b4rs with the qc3 lrp esc spectrum system and a team checkpoint 13x2 motor...its great but im only using venom 4600 batts
mesthead101 3 years ago
is a 17 turn motor better then 13 turn???? i really need to know. thnx
obm92 3 years ago
17 turn generally is slower than 13. Lower the turn the faster the motor. But buy hand wound if you can afford it. MUCH faster.
DEK431 3 years ago
did you use a Reedy motor or another brand. nice work. I have a vintage rc10 that I will get running one of these days
MC7791 3 years ago
The motor is a Corally hand wound. However i have a new Reedy hand wound waiting as spare.
DEK431 3 years ago
is it fast?
kyle4670 3 years ago
Faster now than it was in this video i put a Nosram esc in it and a hand wound motor. Waayy faster.
