troublesomej: It is possible that part of the reason they went on hiatus is because they needed to explore themselves artisticaly, and Serj was getting tired of being confined to this particular band. Also, they hate MTV, not entirely sure why they allowed the company to support them, perhaps because it allowed to spread thier message to wider adience, and in the MTV hosted shows they did not put very much passion into it.
