@sailorv20 Well that's difficult question to answer. I don't know. It was Thempus who stopped the time then. I think they couldn't they haven't that power. In this episode a witch in time she discovered taht secret passage becasue demon came from there. But I'd like to see Prue alive. I like her more than page I must say .
@sailorv20 the portal can only be created if someone change the destiny path (eg. Phoebe saving a guy destined to die). when prue died, no one tried to change the destiny and therefore the portal did not open. this is the reason why the warlock came from the future in the first place because phoebe opened the portal.
The answer is very simple. You can't cheat death. When it's your time to go, it's your time to go. In another episode, death is represented by a particular individual who is neither good nor evil. His job is to collect those that die. It throws off the balance if he is not able to do so.
ForeverCharmed12345, the reason she didn't save Prue is that it was likewise her time to die. Saving her would have thrown off the balance as well.
