can you download songs onto this game or do you have to make it yourself?

If you mean download an mp3 of a song and putting it in Mario Paint Composer, then no - every single note is put in manually.

The only other thing I can think of would be downloading the txt file of a song someone else made and putting it in your own Mario Paint Composer program.

There is actually no midis for any of the Haruhi Suzumiya songs so you'd have to arrange it yourself

actually, I've managed to find a few of them - if you look up ENOZ ZONE on google, the first result should be a Japanese site, and you can find midis of God Knows, Lost My Music, and Hare Hare Yukai and other sheet music/guitar tabs.
