  • I smile EVER time I watch this. Such a cool song..Love De Leo's bass line. Super catchy!

  • an orgasmic experience in the front lines \o/

  • @lettmons yes it was....and then for me to see them front row in Austin, Corpus, Bossier, Oklahoma and tomorrow in Thackerville! I'm addicted....clearly :)

  • Awesomeness!!! STP in ATL one of the best shows I've ever seen. Hoping they come back soon.

  • @6KAW Oh yea? I don't think anyone stole anything here. The lyrics are SIMILAR, that's all. 10 seconds of the bridge the guitar, bass, drums, melody, and tempo are completely different than Stay Away. And even if they did steal it, which they didn't who the hell cares? Cobain admitted he ripped off Boston on Smells like Teen Spirit, atleast it would keep music influenced by good bands up on the radio that is 90% trash these days.

  • i went to a stp show yest exactly 5 months after this one and this song is so much better in person

  • really love that song

  • Awesome video !! thanks for posting !!! cheers !!!!

  • omg.. scott is so awesome, i loved him as velvets singer, but its clear to see that he's farrr more better in this band..this new record is amazing...!!

  • Is there a better f'ing rock band these days??? Thank God Scott and the Boys are back!

  • @sweiland75 theyve been back, they have been touring for over a year now. saw them live in New Jersey 2009

  • @mykezakjd It was still the DeLeo brothers. And in my opinion, STP is the DeLeo brothers. Don't try and say that Rab and Dean are nothing without Scott. Or Visa Versa

  • @ComaAlpha DeLeo brothers are just as much a part of STP as Scott obviously, however without him they are no where as good, where as he was able to still go and be in another successful band and make good music.

  • @mykezakjd Again, you're saying that the DeLeo brothers are nothing without Scott and that's not true! I don't give a fuck about Billboard or VH1 or Rolling Stone or any other list. I give a fuck about sound. That Army of Anyone album was better than 12 Bar Blues and Happy in Galoshes. And other than Slither, I think the AoA was better than the VR album. Not to say Scott was nothing without the DeLeo brothers either.

  • @ComaAlpha You can't compare twelve bar blues cause the DeLeo brothers didn't release a solo CD so you have to compare Velvet Revolver, who are better than Army of Anyone. Contraband and Libertad are both awesome CD's. Scott is what makes Stone Temple Pilots more so than the DeLeo brothers. Now don't get me wrong I'm a Bass player and Guitarist and I can apretiate the musicianship side of it. However it's all about Scott's vocals. To me AOA are weak. although of couse they are

  • @mykezakjd All I'm saying is that I would much rather listen to that AoA album over 12 Bar Blues, Happy in Galoshes and that Velvet Revolver album. You take Scott out of STP and give them a just as talented singer and throw the same effects on his voice that they throw on Scott's and they are just as good. Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Eric in AoA as well?

  • @mykezakjd I completely disagree. I think AoA had much more talented musicians other than Richard Patrick. What AoA didn't have was media coverage and big name guys, that's why they weren't popular.

If you aren't aware that driving force behind STP are the Deleo brothers then you don't know much about STP. Rob Deleo just about wrote every hit song they put out. STP and even Scott Weiland for that matter would've never had hit records if it wasn't for Robert and Dean.

  • even after not performin after almost 20 years they still kick ass

  • STP's new album dropped on Tuesday, I recommend everyone who likes this song or video go pick up a copy. It's a pretty quality album and everyone should gladly support anyone who tries to bring real rock and roll back like STP are doing.

  • I'm still Dead and Bloated but this New tune brought me back.Nothing like STP after Alice in chains of course.

  • @dapeag Got to disagree mate, I mean lets not forget the velvet revolver years but this song makes it feel like they've never been gone. Can't wait to see them this year at Download Festival.

  • Lets be truthful though, the rest of STP are nothing without Scott, whereas he was able to go and be successful with Velvet Revolver so I think it's his voice that is the mani reason the achieved any success.

Dont get me wrong I am a true STP fan through and through, I have all there CD's but credit where credit is due

  • @mykezakjd @mykezakjd STP are better than Velvet Revolver. STP is Scott's home. Scott is a big part of STP's success and a great, dynamic frontman, but don't forget that the DeLeo's write almost all of the music.

The Deleo's could not replace Scott successfully with Talk Show or AoA, but Velvet Revolver is having the same problem and are all but broken up. Slash has a solo album & Duff has joined Jane's Addiction. I'm just happy the see my favorite band back together again. Long live STP!

  • @kennedy78757 I get what your saying and I agree STP are far better than any spin off band, I saw them yesterday at Download festival and it was the greatest gig I've ever seen. The point I was trying to illustrate is that the Deleo bros have not had anywhere near as much success on their own as Scott has. Vevet Revolver are much better than talk show or AOA, but like you say STP rule over all.

  • stp! are back!!

  • This is just totally fucking awesome !!! They are back to kick the hell outta music.. Just when we needed it the must...

  • There will always be typical negative people like BUDWEISERNFL123 on every Youtube board. I'm not reading comments anymore. Negativity sucks. BTW if you like Godsmack so much, why are you leaving comments on STP. Go praise Godsmack, a band so original that they were named after an Alice in Chains song!

  • @kennedy78757 AMEN! Rock on!

  • hell yeah! how much did those tickets cost? a ton? tickets are 45 dollars up in green bay and thats just for crap seats!

  • Thank you Freshness n Zapp...fin somebody said it...We need real bands w/ great rock histories like STP. And so tired of Scott being labeled a junkie and being left outside of the circles of the greats...I think a couple of other rock icons have used as well tho...A guy called Hendrix, a guy called Cobain, etc...Not exactly poster ppl for sobriety. The proof is in the music...STP is incredible

  • ya i hope the rest of the world is as happy as i am they are back in action......STP!!!!!!

  • Funny shit when you turn the camera toward you, rockin out.. AWESOME. psyched for new album. I have the clover tatted on my arm.. Im an STP fan for life and my children will be also(once i have them).

  • STP is fuckin good.

  • Aside from the song itself, I love this video because it shows how Scott really acts in concert; He's one of the more animated lead vocalists in rock music, the way he acts you can tell he's really enjoying himself. He's not just up on stage singing for a paycheck like so many of today's musicians.

Like the way he takes a moment to talk to the audience at the beginning.. He really tries to keep the band in touch with the fans during the show.

    Plus...he's a kickass, talented singer.

  • tiff im 56 years old and you did great

  • omg great video scott is so close! thank you

  • "Stone Temple Pilots' new album..."

Damn it feels good to say that!

  • robert deleo looks like bruce dickenson....yes...the bruce dickenson

  • i've been loving these guys since 'plush'. it's great to have some real rock back on the charts!

  • Ohh yeah, great job. STP Rules!

  • damn!!!....STP is Back!!!....God Bless Them!!!

  • Great bootleg! Reminds me of the good videos from the 80's that people used to take!

  • scott and stp = true rock gods cant wait for new album

  • i would love to see them live and hopefully i will

  • ...and part of it does sound like stay away

  • STP are f**ken awesome

  • stp kicks ass and always will

  • Comment removed

  • The only thing i can say is wow. I saw them four days ago and that show was nothing short of epic. And how can anybody diss STP like that, if you dont like them, why the hell are you even looking and posting comments about their videos. They deserve all the respect in the world for still being around, especially after everything they have been through. Geez, the damn nerve on some shmucks. Fuck off.

  • I haven't really followed their progress at all since they got back together, and I just heard this song for the first time today, on the radio. Hearing a new STP song on the radio after all these years was such a damn good feeling.

  • Look at U Missy, best cut on the web!!

  • this song is fucking awesome. the studio version is online already for free.

  • STP has returned ! ! !

  • If the album comes out sounding at least like No. 4, Ill be real frickin happy.

  • Thanks for posting this video! This song is awesome! I can't wait for their new album to come out. Keep rocking!

  • Not a big STP fan but this sounds like some of their later stuff. I'd like to hear something more like Core. Either way Weiland is one of few people who could pull off that suit.

  • Did anyone notice that the one part in the middle of the song sounds like stay away by nirvana I like to think it's a tribute to Kurt cobain

  • uhhhh what part sounds like Stay Away?

  • @headsh0t16 @2:10 is when it sounds like Stay Away, not to say they completely copied, but they were definitely influenced by the song.

  • Robert's bass line is killer as always. Love that guy.

  • he sounds like tom petty! which is a good thing. but i do think they sounded better in the 90's. i still think this is a great song

  • yeah! forget about the sing-along babies on tv!!! they suck...

  • Go listen to your crap Breaking Benjamin and stop trolling. You presented nothing logical. Your argument is that it doesn't sound like Core so it sucks. The fact is, if a band keeps sounding like their first album, they are not going to last more than a few albums.

  • Yeah........the truth is Reder fiery whatsit...haha....um they are just older now, you don't just take 10 years off nearly and expect to be back BANG just like that.

For people who listened to past albums they'll buy it.....but its no Tiny Music or say even No4 or Purple......Army of Anyone and that Velvet Revolver have kind of caused alot of issues with this band. Neither of them bands were that good either.

  • Seriously how can people complain about this song? Miley Cyrus and the Jonas brothers are on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and American Idol is the most watched show on TV, but no let's talk trash on one of the FEW bands who actually play rock and roll these days. unfuckingbelievable

  • jeaah! this is pure music!! everything else is shit nowadays,i can tell you, just watch the tv...it´s just a waste of time! shit happens,it´s all about the money, fucckkk!!!

  • @TheFreshness11 ---> You took the words right out of my mouth ... Thank God for Scott Weiland and STP!!! I have never loved more songs from a single band in my life...

  • @TheFreshness11 yes you need to be the president

  • @TheFreshness11 absofuckinglutely... music today.... blah.

    Poppy bullshit. Blech.

  • Best fuckin song ever

  • thanks very much for adding these vids! can't wait for May 25th. hickory sounds badass.

  • STP FUCKING ROCKS!!!

  • @zapp314 clearly you have no idea that SCOTT has sold over 40 million albums and won 2 grammy's..he's a lyrical genius who also plays instruments and can actually sound different on SEVERAL albums...Get your shit together!!!

  • @misstiffany7 Well said, your correct. Scotts the man!!!

  • @zapp314

I hear Backstreet Boys are going on tour, maybe that will get you excited since STP "sucks" now. You only heard one song off their new album, and you're saying they are "too formulaic". That's like me saying a movie sucks, based on just watching a 2 minute preview of it.

  • @zapp314 Well... their record label's (Atlantic) publicist says 20 million (Spin article), but those are pretty big numbers either way... By the way, be careful with record sales as evidence of greatness- The backstreet boys have sold 140 million albums, and they suck, unlike STP who are very good.

  • damn i was right next to yall lol

  • Not a real fan of this song... hope the album is great though. Scott sounds too much like Bob Dylan imo.

  • sounds like a lot of nirvana in the song. maybe some like some pop grunge

  • There back hopefully goin to c them in NJ

  • Nothing beats rhyming drug with drugs.

But seriously, I can't wait for this new album.

  • love this new song!!

  • I saw them once in 2000 opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers, and again in 2001 headlining the Family Values Tour! I can't wait to see them again soon!

I still think 'Core' is their best CD, but I've heard a lot of good things about the new one! I can't wait to hear it!

  • me too! my first concert!!!!!

  • any band that wants to sound like Nirvana is okay in my book! I am so PROUD of Scott Weiland-he has come back big time! And he looks really good too! I like it when we talk about LOVE!

  • thanks for the song!

  • This song fucking rocks live. THERE BACK!!

  • beautiful.......

  • sounds like nirvana at the end...

  • Just checked em out at the Winstar Casino at the TX/OK border. Whatta show!

I must admit, this song was one of the highlights. That and Lounge Fly. The new songs sounded pretty good! I remember one of them sounding a lot like Aerosmith...

  • Just premiered on q101 an hour ago

  • Sounds like Days Of The Week on steroids, it's great. Shangri La Dee Da was a fantastic album.

  • Thx for posting. I'm going to the show tonight in KC!!!! Can't wait.

  • Great Video! Thanks for posting!

  • This is a good song, thanks for posting it! Does anyone know when there new album hits stores?

  • Check wikipedia maybe? Not that hard.

  • Great Song!! Hope they come back to Atlantic Canada. Best Band Ever!!!
