Does anyone else feel a little bad that there are starving people in 3rd world countries and in the richer countries, we use food as a game and then throw it away? I always think about that whenever I don't finish the food on my plate, see a carved pumpkin around halloween, see a mellon smashing game, and everything else like that.

To everyone who's complaining about the waste, I'd just like to add that I would hope the food they were throwing around was near the end of its freshness. Kevin complained of smelling like vomit and Mercedes said it smelled bad in there, even before the food was getting thrown. This leads me to believe that it wasn't food most people would consider edible (unless they didn't have a choice).
