BARF. Why are they making Star Tours all about pod-racing now? THIS is all they've got after 20 years? And the geeks just eat this crap up. It's just another reason to try to convince people unsuccessfully that the prequels were memorable, interesting, fun, or inspired. They should just scrap this ride if they're gonna ruin it with prequel imagery.

The most recent info is that the new ride will be called "Star Tours: The Adventures Continue"
New destinations will include Tatooine and Coruscant. And the ride will be set in-between the two Star Wars trilogies.

Just to let people know;
Star Tours at Disneyland closes July 27th, and at Disney's Hollywood Studios Star Tours closes September 8th.

i know the star tours attraction is outdated but i still love it ! it's a freaking classic and i love the story plot! i hope this new one doesn't suck :)

@Disneydanny This attraction takes place in a time before the original star tours. Since the original was rex's "first flight", he obviously wont be in it. (For those that do not know, Podracing was outlawed before the original Star Tours took place in Galactic history.)
