i actually really like shelly.. she has such a good heart.. yeah, she lied a lot in the house, but it's big brother.. in my opinion when you play big brother, you play for yourself, not the other house guests.. she just did what she had to do to help HER game.. i don't know why it was so shocking for the vets knowing that.. i think she played an awesome social game bc she is a good liar, which you have to be to be in the bb house.. awesome social game, but not so much at competitions, lol..

I like how Dani and Kalia spent the whole game bitching about how no one was actually playing this game, and yet when it comes to choose between Porsche and the person who won the most competitions, managed to get off the block the most and won the final HOH (all while being the most hated player from last season), they choose Porsche. And Adam voting for Porsche was 100% bitterness...

@Yanirakarola There's no standard criteria that proves Rachel played the better game. The point is not to win competitions, it's to get to the end, and get the votes. The money goes to the person who did the latter, not the former. You could be like Rachel and be targeted, and win to keep yourself in, or you could be like Porsche and not give anyone a reason to vote you out in the first place. They both were equally effective. Rachel is only the better player because she got the votes.

My point is merely to point out how ridiculous Dani was for bitching all season and then going against the very thing she claimed to stand for when it came to voting! I could say the same thing about Rachel's "floater" whine last season and then voting for Lane. But in terms of this season, Rachel voted out Adam (thus, perhaps against good judgment) keeping to her philosophy about booting out "floaters"....Dani didn't.

@remoney THANK YOU! If Kalia and Daniele didn't get the ball rolling, we would have seen all veterans in the final 4, 5 or 6. It was a risky move but it left Jeff whining, which is what I personally wanted to see. Dani definitely took one for the team.

But Shelly hands-down had the biggest cojones of everyone. Jeff had no right to get in Shelly's face at the jury house. He had no game play. All he did was make people drink his Kool-Aid and look pretty. He even got $40K. PLEASE.

@TheBaconEggAndCheese Agree with you 100%. Anyone who complains that Dani backstabbed her alliance would have been complaining about a horrible, boring season if all 5 vets made it to the final. Which is the trajectory this show was headed if Dani hadn't made a move.

I think Shelly is one of the best players to EVER play the game. I didn't get it at first and she made me mad but after a few weeks I was like WOW, she is working it. Hope she's in All-Stars.

There was a lot of politicking going on from the veterans and with the exception of Daniele, it was a popularity contest. Adam and Porsche saw the veterans' attempt to carry out their ego-inflating agendas as their time to stay under the radar. And this is why Shelly is a good game player. She was not afraid to topple a veteran. Kalia was great too because also she didn't buy into the popularity contest.

@Yanirakarola OK. But Dani and Kalia's social games were arguably MUCH better than Rachel's. Rachel did well in competitions, but her social game consisted of whining, tantrums, meltdowns, and turning people in the house on each other.

On the other hand, Dani and Kalia actually thought they had Rachel for a small period of time. Plus, sometimes "social game" is making sure you keep a target on your back so other people will keep you around. Dani got voted out. Kalia got voted out. Rachel didn't. So how is Dani better again?

She knew that if she sided with the veterans, she would be at the bottom of their totem pole because her dad was no longer there. Dani's alliance with Kalia, if you think about it, saved half of the newbies from being picked off one-by-one by the veterans. Getting rid of Jeff was a sacrificial move on their part, but they took on for the team and ended up on the jury.

@TheBaconEggAndCheese Oh, change of story. Well I hate to break it to you, but Jeff is responsible for the saving of Adam and Shelly (he would have taken them over Danielle)... Porsche would have been gone much sooner if Rachel didn't push Dick to offer her the initial alliance. But aside from this, Rachel WON more, got off the block more and talked to more people than Dani did. Don't be bitter.
