  • Amazing video! ^ ^, But the song was written primarily for "1900 Legend", I think this song is very good for the movie Seven Pounds, you play very well!

  • ..wonderful and original video!!!

    ..Well done..!!

  • im sorry but this song fits a death scene but not all the happier moments it was in during seven pounds.... when they were making love and it played i swore she was gonna have a heart attack and die right then. call me a troll if you want, it's just one mans opinion >"< my ears bleed when this plays

  • The only other song that is as good as this is moon light sonata

  • Dissonance won't sit well with everyone. Just leave it at that. To me, it's one of the most beautiful parts of music, and this piece in particular moves me more than almost anything I've heard. To each their own, though.

  • This is amazing. When i first heard it i thought it was off but the more i heard it the more i liked it and it made me wanna cry every time i heard it in the movie. Perfect fit in the movie. And very good job man.

  • I creid like a baby

  • Whaou !!! One of the best cover ! Bravissimo !

  • @JoeCHC Thank you! I came here just to see if anyone else had noticed it. I'm very sensitive to sounds, so even though I figured that as the reasoning for the note being 'off' like that it still annoyed me to no end and I cringed every time it sounded. It totally took me out of the beauty and tragedy of the scene.

  • What is it about this piece of music that just make me want to....to just cry? As if I know there will be no more tomorrow with her, like if you didn't get a chance to say that last good bye, knowing you will never see them again. Knowing all you had is gone. This piece of music touches me to my core & I don't even know why. & belive me, I am not that emotional of a guy @ all. But this, I can't stop listening to it, & it's get's me every time I do. I can't even watch the movie... it kills me.

  • bravo dude, seriously bravo.

  • Un film davvero unico e commovente...Bellissima colonna sonora!

  • i want pianovision

  • Beautiful, with so much feeling. <3

    Remarkable.

  • @JoeCHC because you don't understand it.

  • Omg Magnifique

  • Very nice!

What is that "tok, toktoktoktok" at 3:22 ? :D

  • This movie is so amazing, and has a brilliant story to it. Will Smith is EpIc! This song makes me want to cry, too. Beautiful though. :) Thanks for the videeooo. :D

  • beautiful.....

  • the movie made me cry . . .

this song is beautiful , and so was the movie .

wish it did better as far as getting an oscar .

the movie was sheer brilliance .

  • lkm

  • @JoeCHC do you mean the one at 0:21, i know it makes me angry too. I think it would sound better w/o it.

  • rofl.gif

  • i want to see a head bob around with a scream mask to this song, i am weird so what

  • This is a good song, but I think the song that Wood Harrelson was playing in the piano scene was slightly better, but apparently you cant find it on youtube

  • @JoeCHC i agree, i get the idea behind it but it sort of ruins the flow of the movie at the same time, it was a bold move to put it in the movie though so kudos for trying it out.

  • @darkpenguin13 this movie wouldn't have been nearly as good without this song. period.

  • @111whitepony111 I totally agree. Been searching for this song a lot, finally I found it :). Superb !

  • é una musica semplicemente stupenda

e la cosa più bella é che l'ha creata un italiano

Grazie di cuore a Ennio Morricone

  • Good job man love it bro

  • Wow! I love the chords in this song. If you look at the scene and what's happeneing...it's so happy and sad because you know what's gonna happen next. While feeling love again...he has to make his sacrifice. It's saddening joy or happy saddness. Either way.. I love the chords. Oxymoron! Love it!

  • 15 pieces of shit in the world that disliked this video. -_-

  • Great job man... Seriously. Perfect tempo.

  • IF YOU GET THE CHANCE, CAN YOU DO A SLOW TUTERAL PLEASE?

  • BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Great Job!!!

  • seven pounds made me cry...alot....... when he was dying in the ice, i cried, when his brother was sitting look so sad, i cried . Will smith is a wonderful actor and he truly brought across his emotions especially with his face. that pained look. That movie is one of my absolute favourite and it tells a beautiful story.... <:(

  • thank you to everybody ^_^

  • @impeto i love your video you put the movie to the piano it really good!this is a really touch song .. thz for sharing^^

  • This song is bascily like a story.

the start things get messy then towards the middle things are upsetting and at the end you try to hold on.

THIS PIECE MAKES ME CRY EVERY TIME.

  • lol... looks like he's currently scoring a new movie with a new music...

  • This video is great.

i´ll try to learn this on piano too =D

  • bel lavoro, Impeto.

  • I like this song because it reminds me how we're all just a little bit of a mess sometimes and barely holding on. It really puts things into perspective. There isn't light without darkness.

  • the song is bittersweet.. you played it well..thanks for posting. and i am still devastated by this movie.. i cried so hard.. will smith where are you? lol but great job pianist keep up the good work.

  • Absolutely beautiful!! You played it wonderfully according to the original and in my opinion, you captured the feeling meant to be behind the music perfectly. I love the movie and this song. Well done, you should definitely continue playing

  • 5 stars. Well done. Unhood yourself ! : )

    -You must be Emily

    -Yes

    - It's so nice to meet you

One of my favourite movies of all time

  • wow great job man. alot of people don't understand that the song is meant to sound "out of tune" with dissonance kinda creating a mood for the song. nicely done

  • at least he has the balls to post it on youtube.

  • If you watched the movie you would know that thats exactly how its suppose to sound. He's playing it perfectly according to the original track.

  • FYI: It's 'tone deaf' not 'tone death'...

  • I find it : Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Fantasia in D Minor

    watch?v=CVGQyuB0Fw8

  • a try to find the part when ezra is playing to piano at that supermarket. He star playing after emlily fall down .Can somebody help me ?

  • Awesome, dude!

  • it's my contention that the original score of this song purposely and intentionally sounds "out of tune" so that the audience can experience the author's fingers bleeding and wailing though the cords and notes onto the ivories.

  • @Shoparazzi nicely said..

  • somethings not right with the third (second last) note...out of tune or something...just check man...

  • It's supposed to sound like that. It's funky but it fits very nicely with the mood of the song. Beautiful job!

  • Beautiful job! This brought tears to my eyes! All my stars! *****

  • most ppl dnt understand this piece..

they think its out of tune or the wrong note...

i think of it as bitter sweet.

    its sad yet pretty

    it has the perfect imperfection.

  • @cymbals2010 i agree : )

  • Nice video fellas!! :)

  • I love this song

  • noooo! im crying :'[

  • @mushookie0heimer Don't feel bad, I cried 2...lol

  • Bravooooooo!! musica bellissima!!

  • love it

  • beautiful ... :-<

  • very nicely used layout there with the green/blue screen! UNHOOD YOURSELF SIR(S)!! very talented! lol

  • What an underrated movie. I guess it wasn't marketed well, or perhaps they didn't know how to market it. Other than Will Smith's character being a vampire or street dancer, I don't see how you would sell this movie to audiences who have the emotional range of a great white shark.

This piece by is simply beautiful and gut wrenching...exactly what the movie is all about.

  • very true, very true!

  • The music alone is enough to bring tears to my eyes. I think the problem with the marketing of Seven Pounds was that many people were confused about the plotline. The idea was to try and have the audience discover what the movie was about as they watched, but so many are wired only for instant-gratification-tell-me-right-now.

  • wow, bravissimo :)

  • this song reminds me to be sweet and nice to every1. like how he was in the movie :)

  • Comment removed

  • I looked for that thank you so much, im crying again ..

  • Ciao bellissimo il video...complimentissimi!

    Vorrei chiederti una cosa:

con che programma hai applicato il film sulla cassa del pianoforte?

  • Never even heard of this movie.

  • its amazing, seriously you should see it!

  • this song is beautifully imperfect... i love it!!!

    The Emperor has no c-l-o-t-h-e-s....

I think u meant to say "The Emperor has no c-l-o-t-h-e-s...."

    ...not "Cloths".

no worries, we all mistakes. u just happened to make 2 @ the same time.

  • Aah, the spelling police... Thank 'u' for spelling it twice, in case I missed it the first time.

  • i learned this song in two days!!

    i love it that much!

    GREAT JOB!!

  • It's the resonance of the off key that gives it the essence of vulnerabliity.

  • bravissimo, complimenti....

  • Absolutely beautiful! Seven pounds is by far my favourite film will smith is inspirational, keep up the good work!!!

  • I loved youre cover. I downloaded youre sundtrack as soon as i found youre songversion. Great Cover!

    Amazing.

  • I knew I recognized this song when I heard it in "7 pounds!!" "1900" is a BEAUTIFUL film. Btw, great video editing, impeto!!

  • how are his fingers broken??

  • It's intentional. Obviously. Haven't you listened to the original of this song? There's a reason it's been used in multiple movies. It's beautiful.

  • considering the fact that most people who have a degree in music theory aren't tone deaf contradicts the fact that you have to be tone deaf or a music major to enjoy it.

Secondly, the dissonance of those chords is supposed to represent a sense of emotion. In Seven Pounds it represented the love and sadness at the same time.

This is music. It's intelligent. So I understand why you wouldn't like it.

  • Elitist...

    The Emperor has no c-l-o-t-h-e-s...

  • Nice.

  • Yeah this song is so good. Ennio is one of the best modern composers, his music is incredible.

  • @lexilove999 Sorry, but as a piano player myself, to me this just sounds off. I don't think the dischord works at all. I'd even go so far as to say it half ruined the ending for me because I became so aware of it, and I was annoyed that of all the pieces of music they could have used to heighten the moment they chose that. It's very easy to say that if people think it sounds bad then they don't understand it, or aren't intelligent enough, it's about how it sounds, not how smart the composer is.

  • @lexilove999 there is ONE tone in there that creates that tension, I'm hearing the b3 or something clashing against the chord of the moment. No rules to music! This is just an example of using musical dissonance to evoke emotion. Great tune.

  • eh it was wrightin like that!! the point been its beautiful but nothin is perfect!!

  • wooow

  • just beautiful

  • great song ! great movie.... great cover

  • Beautiful. Great visuals. This took a lot of work and effort - the end result is amazing.

  • Seems like this piece covers the very much sad part of something coming to an end yet reminding you that good times have passed

  • this is a best song of movie :-(

  • and also 'have no fear' :D:

  • I love the off key :) Very nicely played dude! And visuals.

  • u mean the dissonance?

  • Awesome wonderfully played. I hope you will continue to do pieces like this one I like classical music. wish much love and many blessings

  • veramente pensavi fosse un sua opera?!?...

  • veramente ho parlato solamente di una nota che al mio orecchio non piace li in mezzo... non mi sembra di aver scritto "complimenti per la composizione del brano" :) impara a leggere meglio... ciao

  • yeah a little, its the f and g flat that's played together

  • i just love it..!!!! its perfect!!!!!

  • nice vid.

  • Ennio Moricone composed this song for "1900". Then Roger Waters composed the song "Lost Boys Calling" using the high notes of this song and the song "Playing Love". I love the movie "Seven Pounds" but using the song from another movie was a bad move. I loved your interpretation.

  • km si kiama quasta canzone?la adoro...
