yea the guy who logged our woods had a cat skidder and a tigercat cutter there still very nice the guy you might have seen on extreme logging his name was bobby goodson they have a 6 wheel drive tiger cat skidder with the upside down grapple they are cabable of pulling a full truck load of wood to the deck
My company puchased one for 560k begining of last year. We have had to replace the fuel tank(it had been rewelded several times and had to replace the entire boom because structurally it was weak.
I have been running a Tigercat 870 for 8 years and 28 000 hrs and the stickboom only started to crack this years, got welded and plated on three different spots and seems to hold up pretty good for now. T C is the best. I ran the 01 870 a 07 860 and a 08 845, all fantastic Machines.
We bought a Tigercat L870 last week at an auction in Cali. Pretty low hours and very clean. Can't wait to see it in action when we start cutting our new sale. Seems like a very stout machine and comfortable to operate.
look at all that wildlife habitat gone,, well ,, at least somebody made some quick cash
