  • Chris is just sitting idly by... you didn't have to put him on a game show for people to know he's as dumb as a brick wall... This was a two-player between Shaugnessy and Duchovny

  • @EyeQue782 Ha ha ha lol. Too true..

  • is it just me or did charles have an advantage?

  • duchovney looks like he could be charlie's brother......btw, they have a weird degree of separation. nichole tom, who played charlie's daughter on the nanny, had a sex scene with duchovney in a show.

  • He should totally dye his hair back to its old color! It's too white!

  • @bl0gmOnKeY78 nooooo but he is gorgeous he looks intelligent and wise like that!!!!!!!

  • @bl0gmOnKeY78 he looks like this as shane donavon... <3

  • They're all morons.

  • charles looks nasty blech

  • NILES!!! MISS FINE!

  • charlie is so cute...when he is nervous he rubs his fingers together. he did that in the nanny too

  • Holy crap he's smart!

  • @MoonFlower319 >.> Well..I usually watch it cause' my stepdad does..

  • the reason why they say "What is" is because they give you the answer and you have to find out the question>

  • dude DEADLIEST CATCH!!!!

  • Why do they say "What is". Why can't they say just say the answer?. Charles Shaughnessy is still looking good. (:

  • In Jeopardy! contestants must answer in the form of a question. If they just say the answer, even if it's correct, that won't count (although they can correct themselves and still answer in the form of a question, provided they have enough time).

  • Haha yeah I don't get the "What is" either.

But Charles is lookinf fine :]

    He rocks the gray hair.

    I love him♥

  • @AshlayPiie101 ok, the host sais the answer, and your soppose to say the question, weird, huh hope i helped!!

  • @AshlayPiie101

Because it's not a regular question and answer show, it's an answer-and-question show. Merv Griffin made it this way on purpose, and it's what sets Jeopardy apart from other game shows.

  • @MissSarahClifford charles is SO PRETTY!!!

  • @MissSarahClifford because its a show where u have to say the questions to the answers

  • @SourExplosion Oh, thanks. Finally get it. :)

  • @MissSarahClifford its the point of the show, the clues are really "answers" and the contestants have to come up with the correct response or "question." This has been running since 1965, with 8 years without the show on the air, 75-78 and 80-84. It's popular okay, just sush and enjoy.

  • @MissSarahClifford they are supposed to answer with a question

and charles will always be looking good in my book aha

  • @MissSarahClifford

they say that cause its jeopardy you moron. you provide the questions

  • @flyershockey17 Jeeze, it was just a question. No need to get feisty.

  • @MissSarahClifford The form of a question stems from when Merv Griffin pitched the trivia show idea to producers. They were concerned that the public wouldn't be interested in another trivia show because at the time many scandals were being uncovered wherein the contestants were given the answers. His wife is credited as suggesting, perhaps in jest, that the answers be given and the contestants be required to instead supply the question.

  • I hope that uncovers a better history into the show and it's question-form answers rather than everyone else's' "just because" explanations.

  • Also, the show's original title was "What's the Question"

  • @MissSarahClifford Are you really that dumb. The whole history of the show is based on the Quiz show scandals of the 50s. In which producers were coaching the answers to contestants. Merv Griffin devised this show as an "answer" to the scandals. In other words the answers are given and the contestants have to supply the questions. So the "What is" is a factor of the game. SO SHUT THE F_U_C_K UP ABOUT IT!!!! YOU DUMB BITCH

  • @mlrobins2 No need for that language..... I didn't know, mainly because I have never watched it until I saw it on The Nanny. God, take a chill pill. ...

  • @MissSarahClifford because they are the ones asking the question. the clue is the answer to the question they ask.
