How have you succeeded to disconnect or ditch the lean burn system ? I have a '77 Newport like you, but the engine hesitate when I press the gas pedal. Thanks !
@phil74741 You replace the lean burn ignition to basic electronic ignition (distributor and control box), then to make it work flawlessly you have to find yourself a thermoquad carburettor from a non-lean burn big block, rebuild it and set the float level correctly (29/32 inch).

@aruizdonatoable there were Cordobas in canada. The turismo, if i remember well, was kind of a horizon with two doors.
thats sad i dont have those fender side markers. Ill have to go to the scrapyards to find some hehe

Way cool car ! I've had a lot of the late 70s Chryslers. New Yorker Broughams, Newports and a Cordoba.
With a little detail work it's a show car.
I'd junk all the leanburn stuff.
