Please can anyone help me? In my need for speed carbon none of the intros, demos, movies, bio videos etc and I mean NOT a single movie or intro shows! I always directly get jumped into the game, like after i create and alias, i directly get jumped into the task of escaping from cross without any startup part 1 and 2 intros. This one this one THIS ONE. Carbon is a short game, but what's there is quite fun. Not to mention the shortness makes it easy to replay and try new things.

Meanwhile, Undercover is too long, plus the story and the characters are a lot more boring.

There was a good reason for picking the Chevy. If you choose the Chevy first, you can get Samson as a crew member early in the game, and he gives you a 10% bonus on your winnings for every race you win with him. That adds up quickly over the course of the game.

Yup. These cops do anything they can to stay in front of you, once they get past you. Which is a nice AI routine you can exploit XD

GOD NO. This game has several flaws that are just jaw-droppingly horrifying.

- It's a virtual clone of NFSMW. There is very little that's new for this game.

- This game can be finished in one afternoon.

- You win virtually nothing for races you've already finished. Which essentially limits how much cash you have to use.

- The achievements are really stupid. You have to fill your garage with tuners, muscle, and exotic for one. That forces you to empty your garage completely twice!!!

oh and, about the State cruisers, thats jut not possible, whenever I get into a pursuit, they just wont let me go, even when Im 100 miles away from them, they SOMEHOW find me, and then I get into a pursuit, and about the state cruisers, theres just too many at once, one time I even had 20 police on my tail at the same time. state cruisers are like wolves, both strong in number-wise and single-wise

It's not impossible. You just need to practice more. I can understand how you feel. I used to be afraid of the state police too. But now that I've got practice under my belt, even the feds don't stand much of a chance catching me.

and when im not dealing with tha cops, im dealing with a blacklist member...oh god, just trying to beat one is like going through your worst nightmare. just about EVERY BL member, its the same story, you ugrade your car to maximum amount possible, but I still lose, and I have to press the restart race button like 20 times before I can actually win.

Same thing as the cops...you just need to practice more. Really, Most Wanted was one of the easiest racing games I've ever played, thanks to the rubberband AI. Even if you fall behind they let you catch up.

the god damn motherfucking cops, I was in a level 3 heat zone, my ass got owned every time! EVERY TIME! first of all, the roadblocks where made of SUVS so I can never even get past ont, and whats worse, its that youve got Police Jeeps hurdling right at you the opposite direction whenever your going 100+ mph, also, the new "state cruisers" are like cars on steroids! they are unmoveable and can ram you off the road in a minute flat.

Everything you've complained about can be easily countered.

Roadblocks = aim for the rear end of a car if you can't just drive around it. The car will move aside easily if you have enough speed. Just don't hit the middle or the front, otherwise the weight of the engine and the body will stop you.

SUVs = keep an eye on your radar. That's really all there is to it. Also, listen for when the cops call for "Rhinos" on their radio. That's a signal they're coming.

Higher level cops = don't try to slam into them constantly. It wont' do any good. Instead, push the front of your car into one of their rear tires. If done right, this will make them spin out and get out of your way.

Also, steer clear of them. Focus more on going fast and keeping an escape route around at all times.

With some practice you'll discover they're actually not that bad. They've got predictable AI routines. Watch some of my pursuit videos.

You unlock the Mustang GT pretty quick if you start with the Camaro, and the Hemi Cuda's a Tier 3 car so it would be pretty unbalanced if you started with a great car.

Besides, cops are a pretty small part of this game, unlike Most Wanted. Apart from this forced encounter in the intro, you can get through the entire game without ever meeting them (although it would be quite hard to do).
