As trashy as they are, the "nasty trailer parks" on Dickerson play a pretty big role in the city's country music history. Many stars such as Porter Wagoner, George Jones and Loretta Lynn lived on and around that strip when first coming to Nashville.
Today Dickerson Road in East Nashville,TN and all of zip code 37207 is nothing like that anymore but with no doubt it will go thru partial gentrification one day as it has a long way to go and the nasty trailer parks with the crazy trash hopefully will be shut down and torn down soon enough so we can bring on more middle class people like myself which I too live in zip code 37207 and if I were rich I would gentrify the place even if you wouldn't Jett Loe but still anything is possible?
