@ShipsHaven The bass is Jody Medford. He sang with the Kingsboys and Squire Parsons & Redeemed when he was young. Later sang with Chosen Few that used to sing at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.
Does anyone know where Bill Bass (the bass player in this video) is? He and I used to sing together in the Singing Joyneymen with Ray Rawls and Jan Lancaster. I agree with the comments Biney English is truly amazing
I am not sure where David is now, but I caught a glimpse of him 2 weeks ago on American Idol when his son, Bryan auditioned for season 9. Oh yeah, and by the way, he (Bryan) made it through to Hollywood!
@cjskippy5 He has a music ministry in a church.....sorry, I don't know which church. He was a great friend, and one of the best tenors in the business.
I saw Medford sing in Pigeon Forge about four years ago. When he projected in his lowest register, the theater rattled. I bought his CD. It was the best memento of the trip.
I Wonder if we could find any more video's of Dave Walker. It truly is sad, Dave was the original Bass singer of a local group known as the Nottingham Four which he helped to start with my dad and I can't find any videos of him.
Terry Carter is a personal friend of mine. He owns a part-time group in North Carolina called Adoration. I was the radio promotions rep and project of their 1998 project "Adoration" when I worked for their record label. The Anchormen have always had strong quartets.
Does anybody know what ever happened to Jody Medford? I know he later sang with Chosen Few at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, but when he left them I never heard of him again.
I know the later forms of this group sang this song too. I have a vhs video of the Anchormen with this song. It has Terry Carter, Brian Routh, Jeff Chapman, and Dale Forbes.
Biney is an anointed singer. He now sings with his wife and a few others. God has blessed him. As for Terry, he's a hoot! I've seen he and The Anchormen perform numerous times. God bless.

Not only is Biney English a great singer but he writes beautiful songs as well.

Biney English doesn't get his just dues for how great a lead singer he was in his own right, not just as the brother of Michael English.
