  • midtown broke up like two years before this video...

  • Poor Ocdp.. Guitar center murdered you.. ):

PEARL SUCKS BTW CHAD COME BACK

  • Guy ive been doing session work with plays these. They are great sounding drums. Got his own rally stripe finish with leopard spots . Worth every penny

  • diosss. dame la direccion para tirar un curriculum jaja., me robo todo

  • I thought that Joey Jordison is endorsed by Pearl Drum Company.

  • @MultiDJpatrick This video is like 10 years old

  • ive seen some HORRIBLY wrapped drums by this co. sounded like crap too

  • I want to visit the factory

  • It's like a kid watching a cartoon! WOW!

  • where can they make you one??

  • are ocdp drums any good for heavy metal/hardcore?

  • they showed travis barker 3 times GO BLINK

  • i just baught one of their snares i cant wait for it to get here!!

  • Drummers who understand head selection and tuning can make the cheapest made snare drum sound great!

  • LOL Joey jordison and Chad sexton don't use ocdp any more!

  • @mythkid1208 I know,But Iowa sounded amazing with ocdp,Theyre so good,Joey switched to pearl XD

  • hell .. i adoreeee the styles they are makin' !!!

  • (O)verrated

    (C)ontemptible

    (D)isastrous

    (P)roducts

  • joey used a ocdp set in the uk or something like that i believe... watch the disaster peices video

  • how do u get ur snare to sound like that?

  • lots of plys

  • 2:05 joey jordison doesn't have any OCDP Drums !!!! he has pearl

  • he used to be with ocdp

  • and why he changed ?

  • personal choice

  • hw uses pearl lately. look at disasterpieces and his most famous solo. he uses OCDP there.

  • ok :D

  • Joey was an endorsed OCDP player on the first two Slipknot albums. I was bummed when he went to Pearl. Chad Sexton also recently went back to Pearl after using OCDP from 1995 until 2009. I really want an OCDP kit but they no longer are in my price range.

  • he had a pearl kit for ozzfest 99. He then had OCDP all the way until the vol 3 album. gey his new drums sounds nothing like the "Iowa" sound.. that was the best sound...

  • Iowa was their best album. The drums on that sounded great. I lost interest in the band after that.

  • Cool ! Glad OCDP is doing so well, had them do a rewrap on a set years ago, it turned out awful !

  • Whoever is playing the drums in the background needs to take some lessons...

  • cant compare to dw. ocdp builds with keller shells..

  • I swore by OCDP for years.... until I finally got enough money to order a custom kit which they took 30 weeks on, treated me like crap, and never finished. They only respect their endorsed drummers.

And that amount of time was no exaggeration. Thirty (30) weeks to the day is when I finally cancelled the order on them.

  • 0:49 Travis Braker enema signiture snare FTW!

  • OMG! i am looking to C&C artists and i just know the drummer from My chemmical romance!!

COmparong with ocdp that have Travis Barker, John otto, Adrian Young, etc... C&C is a shit!!

  • the fucken best drums companie on the world!! eheh

  • They are great at what they do, but does anyone notice a pattern forming? They only sign these RELATIVELY mediocre drummers from large scale rock groups up for endorsement. I haven't seen any studio greats or clinicians using OCDP.

  • Andy Deville

  • WTF, Joey Jordison uses pearl, not ocdp.

  • he used to use ocdp back in the days

  • but joey jordison have used OCDP before Pearl

  • Yeah but their V-Mounts are made horribly. They start bending toward the toms within a couple of months of heavy hitting. The Avalon Suspension system is much better and you get 2 floor toms with it for a much cheaper price than the Newports.

  • not true, ive tried an ocdp snare, sounded amazing.

  • @ToAsTmAn119911 well mine came with bad bearing edges which sucks for tuning but it still sounds amazing, however i feel like it's been built like crap just cause of that

  • haha she says you wont get mass produced drums there but ocdp just started to make production drums

  • OCDP isn't even the ones making them, they sold the name to Guitar Center and they are being produced in some factory in china.

  • joey had ocdp drums making the album slipknot

  • their so good i want them so bad

  • john and Steve are good people!

  • also there custom drums can go from acrilyc to fur and they still sound awesome! I am looking forward to buying another in the future.

  • I love the sound of OCDP! Teir snares are awesome but there shells sound awesome 2. I just bought my new OCDP about a month ago. Its finish is a blood red crushed glass finnish with 4 toms. And thats why i love OCDP

  • Pretty overrated drum company. I only like it because of Atom Willard. But Pearl, Tama, Pork Pie and DW make same kits that are about 60% of the price of an OCDP kit. I do admit they have great sounding snares but thast about it. They are very very overated only due to Travis Barker. I like Truth drums better than OCDP.

  • ha i played on my friends ocdp it SUCKS MAJOR COCK like honestly the thing still sounds pretty horrible even when tuned properly.. i will give them credit that they do make pretty nice snares but they NEED to work on gettinig better tecnique for the set because there sets sound pretty bad... i think they focus more on looks rather than the sound.r

c&c are definately high quality but perrsonally my favorites would have to be Outcast Drums, DW, and SJC...

  • "Lathing" is not a word! - it's "Turning"

  • SJC ARE BETTER

  • I only like OCDP is because Stevo 32 from Sum 41 uses it and Atom Willard uses also. Can't forget the famous Travis Barker.

  • i like ocdp to because of theses drummers and adrian young from no doubt to but isn't just this.

    OCDP is fucking awesome

  • woooow OCDP c'est tros de la balle!!!

    The sub-songs is funny!! (drum)

  • i agree, i mean i have a relli old worn out tama royalstar that i got for free off a crazy old woman and ide give anything for a nice brand new ocdp kit

  • OCDP's atand out from all drum brands, thats why people who cant own one write dumb coments. Its like people who own hondas and hate on BMW's haha, same crap. - Darwin

  • well, it is true that ocdp's drums are overpriced, but they are amazing and have the coolest lugs ever

  • how do they stand out from a drum shell like DW They both use 6 ply maple shells and both get there shells from the same supplier, what placing a ocdp badge on the shell suddenly going to make it a better sounding drums, wake up to yourself ,

  • um Dw and OCDP dont use the same shells. WHat makes an OCDP stand out is their finishes and looks, Vented snares, multy holts rings on bass heads, lugs, long bass drums, and all the other things drum companies try to copy!. They use keller shells which are high-end good soundding shells, specially with the hand sandding and bearring edges the OC guys do. Besides DW's are like Hondas' evrybody has one!

  • Get fucked dickhead, dw use keller ply also except they have thier own shell press and segment the the plys so no one ply is met and thats how all high end quality drum makers should do, Shit creating a hole into a snare drum thats some high tech shit going on thier and venting a snare kills the sound obviously your just an amatuer and have not got the ear to hear such a difference and DW will build you a kit to your specs , Plain and simple Orange county are a rip OFF

  • wow why such cruel words? i know that DWs are really good high end kits, evrybody knows that. And you think that people who like OCs are amatuers? just look at their artist list, and all the bands that use OCDPs. Yes they are expensive, but a big part of that is that they are really high in demand, it will take you 6 to 9 months to get a kit from them, so they must be doing something right. All I said is that evrybody has DW's, I am sorry that gave you a Yeast-infection"- Dar

  • Oh and ofcourse vents will change the sound of a drum. they make your snare louder with a sharp crack that is made to be tuned high. Thats why I have both vented and non-vented OCDP snares.

  • i agree with "spongedar1" besides... OCDP and DW are diferent types of drum manufaturers DW does have some hi end shit let me tell ya and OCDP probably should think to maybe drop the prices just a lil bit ....but OCDP is more of a "custom" type drum manufacturer as DW has like different models to choose from and different fineshes(that are very limited campared 2 OCDP's) as far as the argument on snare vents WHO GIVES A FUCKING SHIT!!!!!! that is all.

  • OCDP aren't all that great, they're basically about looking cool over sound quality. C&C can do everything that OCPD can do and way more, plus the drums sound amazing.

  • you should hear adrian young's drums they sound amazing, plus you cant compare c&c to ocdp especialy if you havent played ocdp

  • I've played both man I'd take the C&C's over the OCPD's in a heartbeat.

  • I'm a C&C sponsored artist and honestly C&C are good. But (don't tell them I said this) OC's are better.

  • right on man, even music store owners will tell you c&c make better quality drums then OCDP

  • umm dude they are the best sounding drums..

  • does C&C have a site or a dealer somewhere in or around connecticut?......iv never heard of em and want to check em out

  • I honestly can't tell you for sure man. I know around where I live in Canada a couple different stores carry their stuff. They have a spot on their website that'll tell you about dealers near you, however as most of their stuff is custom you probably won't find what you want in any of the stores, as everything needs to be ordered from C&C.

  • but do they have a website?? and wat is it????????

  • Just search C&C drums man. It'll come up.

  • C & C is comepletely custom and their drums sound amazing. It depends on what style you're planning to play and how much you want to pay really. I've played their drums with the 45 dgree baring edges but they offer other options as well. If you want to hear how they sound recorded just check out their roster. Thrice's newest installment may be a great example of how they sound recorded. They are however "ringy" since going for the vintage sound, you may wish to apply some kind of dampening.

  • OCDP=<3 my drum teacher, Andy Deville, from norway(i live in norway) is sponsored by OCDP. that is one of the sickest drum set i have ever seen.

  • I've seen his video, (Andy deVille - Algo Movie), its really good :) drums sound great too

  • why is it that 90% of custom drum makers (not ocdp in particular) endorse people who use 4 piece kits? cant they be f*cked to make them? I favour OCDP for this reason. They make drums for all kinds of sets :)

  • there's one left

i'm spanish and here there is one drummer who uses OCDP, he's called Oxi and he plays in NoWayOut, listen something from them, They are so amazing

  • But are they as good? That is the question...

  • CUSTOM! Of course its worth it.

  • steve from sum 41 has always played dw,and drumzac hates ocdp's because he can't afford them.

  • Wrong. I can afford them, also Steve DID play OCDP at one time early on in their career. It was a blue kit with red hardware, I can't quite remember the video but it's there, clear as day.

I wish I was as cool as you, so I could rock out on some overpriced poorly assembled keller shelled drums.

  • really then howcome your'e coment sounds like you cant afford them, ocdp's are not just about finishes but the sound that those drums can make I doubt that company's that charge less can produce shells that sound and look amazing.

  • Don't doubt it.

There are many more companies that do the exact same thing as OCDP, but better and charge less. Epiarch, SJC, Highwood, Cresendo, C&C, Raven Customs, not to mention all the stave and segmented shell builders that don't just decorate keller shells.

  • Stevo played an OCDP in "All To Blame" "Still Waiting" and many more songs of the All Killer No Filler CD

  • Joey does not play OCDP.

  • He did, as did Steve from Sum 41. They have since moved on once they realized how awful of a company OCDP is.

You can get drums made with the same keller shells with better finish and the same options for half the cost.

  • ic, I didn't know if how old this was, and I thought Joey alwats played pearl.

  • they dont pay for it dude

endorsements.. have you ever heard of it?
