I agree. Radio Shack has done away with most of their do-it-yourself kits and components. The only place you can find electronic parts is online or speciality electronic warehouses and you have to pay out of the ying-yang for a few small items. Ughh!!!

Yes, I too mourn the passing of how Radio Shack had neat things and now all they want to do is sell you a cell phone as soon as you walk in.

I didn;t replace any resistors.

I just did the "2 fingers to find where i can find a glitch" and then soldered 2 wires to it and then a potentiometer.

dude, I got a question:

Did you replace the resistor of the toy's circuit with 1meg directly (take the resistor from the board?) or just normally bent the pot in (without removing the resistor from the board)?? Just wondering.

I got a 20k pot with my bent blaster. . .it creates a fuzz effect (soon to be on YOUTUBE!!)
