  • Beyond that, when painting with Perfect Pearls, you do *not* need hairspray. Perfect Pearls is *set* with water to begin with, so you don't need a fixative like hairspray or glue -- just water. So spray water on the craftmat, put a dab of perfect pearl (whatever color you like) into the water, mix it up with a tooth pick, and then use the fine paint brush.

  • @ibkristykat Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate knowing the differences in these mica powder preparations. I get them mixed up :-) I do have some PearlEX that I need to try this with, or something similar. Knowing someone else has better info than I do helps so much.

  • yeah um if I were you I would just try to look at the paper at an angle when trying to use Versamark or Perfect Medium, and brush on the perfect pearls, and set it with a mist of WATER not hairspray

  • Oh Leslie...you look so pretty! :o) I love your experiments! I have to tell you...my initial thought was..."Oh no! CAKE!!" LOL You and Maureen both!! haha What are you trying to do to me with these "suggestive" videos! lol Love this technique! I'll be playing around with this one for sure! :o) (I don't know why I'm finding this video so late!)

  • @nickelnook1 Good grief, I haven't responded to your comment :-( Thank you Nancy for your comment. You make me laugh out loud, much more than "lol" :-) Unfortunately, it seems that quite a few of the stamps I have are food related....wonder if it bears any relation to my girth? This, like other techniques, was by accident but turned out very interesting.

  • Yeah Leslie! Fantabulous vid. You look beautiful (loved the intro)and what a great technique! Your stamps were beautiful! Gonna have to try this. Love you, Jann

  • @WhatYouMakeIt1 Thank you Jann. I had plans of doing your Wax Resist but kept being blocked by what I DON'T have to do what you showed. BUT YOU still inspired me to keep thinking and do something sparkly :-)

    Love you - Leslie
