Does anyone feel like Laura Marling seems all depressed now? her first album was so spunky, then her second album she dyed her hair and tried to change her image, then with this album she went back to blonde and her music sounds very defeated now... it's still beautiful, but very haunting.

But I believe there are other songs that are very fun & upbeat in the new album, like The muse, All my rage... & aren't there some pretty dark songs on Alas I cannot swim? Like Old Stone, Night Terrors, My manic & I (which is also the song that got me crazy about her) All I'm saying is, she has never failed to amaze me with her music!
