  • That's when I was a noob I got it all fixed and got my order of 16 broken Xboxs to repair and have sold one already

  • GOOD JOB

  • Where does that gooy stuff on the prossesors come from? I also have a brillent idea why don't you take the Xbox prossesors and stick them in a computer?

  • @rockersixty Because an Xbox processor or any other component like a GPU won't fit in a computer...

  • i have an elite so will this work for it

  • @livekris89 yes

  • stubby thumbs..

  • how come i cant order the kits stuff

  • @MentalCenter HMMM I wonder you flagged you ?

  • make sure for the last part that their is not an alcholic over while you do dat 1 quick toilet break and wen u come back hes eatin your xbox thumbs up if u agree that hed be NOM NOM NOMMING

  • Found out that is a hell of alot easier if you just use cotton balls rather then q tips to clean the thermal paste off. If you use silver 5 thermal paste xbox on initial turn on rrod gone. awaiting the 20 min heat up time.

  • now how do i put it back together O.O

  • Ok so I stripped the two screw that you need to take off of the heat sinks help!

  • @JtagAndModz Late comment, but you are screwed... You will have to drill them out, but be super careful

  • The thermal paste wich was originally on my xbox is hard to remove i use methanol. But it's not gelly anymore i'ts all hardened :S any advice ?

  • @Killgore521 Lighter fluid will annihilate any thermal paste, let it soak for 10 seconds or so until you see it dissolving and use a towel or rag to wipe it off. Lighter fluid... NOT butane

  • Can i Still Fix the Xbox 360 RROD if i dont have a dvd drive inside of it??

  • Holy shit the factory uses too much thermal paste

  • Didn't work it only works for 1st gen xbox -:(

  • Where can I find the "elbow grease" that you mention at 9:00 in the video? :E

  • hello to anybody wanting to fix their Xbox, my channel has a great genuine guide :) hope i can help, thanks

  • @TheInternetdeals thanks mate, actually works! :)

  • To anyone watching this video; The X-clamp fix is and always was a scam! Perpetrated to sale you useless bolts that will in the end kill your Xbox 360! Do not do it at all! All you will succeed in doing is killing your Xbox! I will show you proof! On my channel come look and if you still want to kill your Xbox? At least you will know the truth! First.

  • 44 people threw their xbox's!

  • @JamesJohn83 You did something wrong obviously, this worked for me!

  • im having a really hard time doing this myself...I bought a t10 torx and just found out that only unscrews some of the outer screws. I need a t8 now...oh and i don't understand all the screws and washers

  • @JamesJohn83 Lick my nutz too. Just to do it! Thanks, hope there is not too much salt on them ballz. -B

  • how do you dry the thermal compund ? please let me know, I have no sound on my computer. I've done this repair be4 and it lasted me a month. Except I had the thermal compound drip off the chips and onto the motherboard towards the back of the xbox.

but yea i'm fixing it again and let me know how to dry it asap.

  • when my dad removed the x-clamps, he cuts himself hahahahha

  • Well my cords were getting fucked up and I had to put stuff between it to see the video and now it doesn't work and won't show video but xbox will still go on

  • @petehawkins717 fuck you fucking spam its not even free

  • @JamesJohn83 Your so dumb dude. This is better then the pros. WTF do you think they do with the shit. They do shit like that AND then charge dumb asses like you UP the ass $150 fool.

  • @midarkmind Dumbest reply ever. A pure snarky fail. Pull your boy friend out of your ass, then pull your credit card out and get FUCK again.

  • Dude you don't have to PRY the clamps off of the studs. They are designed to pop off. All you need to do is stick your flat head screw driver in hole, right between the stud and the rest of the clamp. Press hard and move it around a little bit and then they start popping right off. Common sense escapes people sometimes. XD

  • if u need PlayStation 3 or box360 repair or case mods go here texas360xmods.webs.com

  • process worked flawlessly, thanks for the help!!! its so clear now how cheap the shit they use really is. cant thank you enough. my son is fucking stoked.

  • So tell me... did you use guiness or fosters for your alcohol? ;)

  • @lilaiez hopefully guiness

  • My disc drive didnt work when I did all this.

I fixed the fan, but now the dvd drive just doesnt respond when I hit the eject button.

It just flashes once.Help please :/

(Yes I connected the cables to the motherboard, so please dont say that)

  • IT FUCKING WORKED!!!IT MOTHERFUCKING WORKED!!!HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!MICROSOFT CAN SUCK!!!MY!!!DICK!!! XD

  • @donda2111 Learn the truth behind the Xbox Red lights from someone ho knows come view my videos get chances to win Xboxes 100% free and even win a total repair shop and I have just begun! I will even give you a shot at $250,000.00 that is right one quarter of a million US Dollars is up for grabs just to stop you from killing your Xbox with fake repair kits like the one shown on this video!

  • @HGCGamersClub Yeah youre correct. The damn thing died a week later. XD Well i guess im off to saving money for a new one.Maybe ill take this one appart and turn it into a transformer statue! XD And by the way, your vids are quite good sir.I dont see why people trash you all the time even tho youre right.Kudos.And also, will you be making XBOX360 slim videos?

  • @donda2111 Does the xbox still work ?

  • @cuginetycoon Nope it died. But it has about 3 or 4 years behind it so i guess its not that bad considering its a xbox 360 arcade with a premium HDD on top.

  • ok i have the real reason why. its the cpu. the X claps push up on the cpu makeing the connection bad. so heres what you do. the screws you have that are used for the heat sinks remove them and instead of putting in the way microsoft did, put the heat sinks on with the screws off them, and from the back of the mother board, screw into heat sinks. this ensures that the cpu is firmly clamped.mines been working fantastic ever since.drill out crew holes.thumbs up if you've tried this and it works.

  • would spirtits be alright for cleaning the old paste ?

  • can you use a rmag to clean off the heat sinks

  • how come you need new screws and washers? can you do it without them? and can you do it without the cooling gel stuff???? plz reply someone lol

  • @Hail2TheChimp1st @Hail2TheChimp1st You need new screws and washer because the xclamps warp and cause the heat sink not to make contact. The cooling gel stuff is called thermal compound.

  • @evbottech oh so they should not make contact? cuz ive actually fixed it but did it without the washers but now its over heating so i geuss its because they shouldnt make contact. il have to go buy some washers and screws then. thanks!

  • Ya know,i just noticed that Isaac Clarkes kinesis module looks alot like the chrome heat sink.Cool. :D

  • i repair xboxes with red ring free and easy thumbs up if i helped you!

  • Wow this can't be right, this site was messed up

and sending out ps3's earlier today.

  • 44 ppl must have fucked up there xbox :/

  • How long did this clamp?

  • I FUCKED UP MY XBOX

  • Get a ps3 and your problem is fixed -.-

  • to complex i no how to do it with easy step by step videos

  • heatsink screws are pzo not t8

  • My xbox doesnt have xclamps... it worked for almosta year without them though

  • i like how you dont skip nothing im gonna buy your kits from now on thanks

  • Great Vids. You walked me through my xbox trauma!!! Thank you, you rock!!!

If you have the RROD watch this man in action.

  • my thermal paste didnt come off that easy

  • How do you know how to do this?????????????

  • you have the most f'd up pinky finger i've ever seen. decent vid though.

  • Step 1 Have sex with me !

  • gotcha soall u have to do here is just take out the parts and clean the heater and that other stuff

  • OMG Your Baby Finger .. :P

  • this is the easy way un plug the xbox360 then plug it back in tada it's fixed

  • Good Work, but the way to clean up the paste is like smear or blur, but not clean up.

  • lol thank goodness for q-tips.

  • With all this work just for a horrible console u might as well buy a pc which won't give u all the problems the 360 has

  • you have some ammount of patinence by now the xbox would be kick through my window

  • what would you suggest other then q tips. my thermal paste that was on there is quit dry. it doesnt come of like yours

  • @Hondarider3433 a clean cloth will do then use q tips and go over it one final time

  • lmao i wish it was that easy to clean the chips on an xbox that has yet to have rrod fixed ... fuck it always takes forever cuz that shits hella backed on there !!!!

  • Seriously, why all the Q-Tips?

Just use a rag with metho. Watching you use a Q-Tip to clean the heatsink was like watching someone using a spoon to dig a hole.

  • @crocodile2006 whats mentho??

  • @fattycheeks

Metho. Uno Methylated Spirits? I think the Yanks may call it denatured alcohol or something like that.

  • @crocodile2006 i've dug a hole with a spoon

  • Comment removed

  • @crocodile2006 some of us aren't techies.

  • @crocodile2006 the heatsink has the paste on it for the hard drive to heat it up

  • @113000816 what? that made no sense, the GPU/CPU has thermal paste on it to STOP it from heating up and assist with the transfer of heat to the heatsink

  • @ToAstYNaChO clean the old paste out of the heatsinks and then put the new thermal paste on it so it heats up

  • @113000816 no.... the thermal paste is to STOP it from heating up, and help TRANSFER heat

  • @113000816 thats the quote of the year

  • @crocodile2006 no man, he dug a hole to china with a toothpick jk

  • @crocodile2006 there is a thing called fast forward you know be patient bro

  • Anyone who has two red lights or the fan won't turn, just put a pad or something between the processors and heat up the long grey one for 15-20 minutes with a hair dryer and that will fix it, any questions let me know

  • @matthewisamazingok if u 2 red it means that the xbox is overheated, just let the xbox cool down and buy the fan for the xbox and u can play the xbox

  • @113000816 well the thing is my xbox wasn't working and the fan didn't move so i heated it with a hairdryer and it worked so thats how i did it.

  • do u have to put thermal paste on the gpu and cpu. or can u just clran it with alocohol?

  • @ggamerxxx25 nope you need thermal paste your xbox will overheat without it

  • good

  • hey check out my video @ mw2pro24! probably one of the funniest ways of fixing an xbox! hope you enjoy it!

  • why doesnt my fan work when i turn it on!!!?

  • @slitpill your heatsink screws are to tight loosen em off a bit and she'll boot up

  • @spikerbrad23 i untightened the screws but the fan and dvd still dont turn on! :(

    any other suggestions? thanks

  • @slitpill get a multimeter and check to see if your getting power to your fan connections you should be getting atleast 9 volts

  • @spikerbrad23 ok will do, thanks the help :)

  • @mrboyface know what a drug store is? they sell it there

and you dont even need alcohol. i did about 10 xclamp fixes. including 2 for myself. just get some paper towel and a razor blade. it will come up super easy.

i stoped useing AS5 and started using the new AS MX. i notice a few degrees cooler with the new compound

  • @iFoRCeZz yeah you take it off, im sure you took that off 2 week ago now though lol

  • Comment removed

  • Worked....great video. Without buying the screws.

  • thats y idl xbox, its WAY too complicated

  • cant you just go to the heart of the problem? if the heat sink is right there do you have to really take apart everything else?

  • @frankiereichart does that realy work

  • Seriously. What are the specifics on the things we need to preform this fix. Screws for example, what size should they be? We'll also need to know what kind of thermal past and what size of washers were used.

  • @JustinJPCF hes not telling yuo because he wants you to buy his kit. fuck that i clicked on the link and it was 20 dollars. im just gonna watch some other videos and try too find sizes

  • wat size bolts do i need to get?

  • <----------

Look at my vid. It's way easier to fix the RROD in my video than in this video, and theres no chance of fucking it up!!!! lol Just click on my channel to watch it.

  • when reassembling my 360. I couldnt put back the small black heat sink screws. the ones that went around the x-clamps. My question is, is that ok that I dont screw those back in? They are going to screw into my new screws I replaced the x-clamps with.

  • my xbox got the Red Ring of Death but my fan dos not git power and we i live it on wont over heat

  • This method does work but for 7 other methods, if this method doesn't work out for you, check - youtube.com/watch?v=LDaTYZpe5Yw

It comes with an easy to follow tutorial and 100% success!.

  • Totally brilliant!!!! fixed my 360...you're a star!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i have two heatsinks like yours but i also have a mini heatsink attached to the silver heatsink , is this supposed to be like this and how do i take it out???

  • i did EXACTLY every little detail of this tutorial and my box wont even turn on to do my overheat stage for 20 min. i get instant 3 blinking lights.... what now? This happen to anyone else? all i have to say is that this is not a sure fix at all. i dont know anybody that has had this work for them.

    what do i do next?

  • I did NOT use the bolts and washers as suggested. I reinstalled the X clamps, without doing the heat load procedure.. When I powered the box on, the 3 red lights came back on. I did the heat load procedure and it worked. Putting the X clamps back on serves the purpose of dissipating more heat to the metal case. Whereas replacing the X clamps with the bolts do not connect to the metal case. One other thing, apply the heat sink compound evenly to the entire processor surface.

  • @aimvideo instead of the x clamps you can also use rubber washers it works too

  • Pleas see my attached videos to learn the truth! About the X-clamp fix

  • Think twice before you slander my name!

  • Do not follow this mans video or advice Go to my channel to find out if it is possible for you to fix it yourself! You can even call me and ask question but take this as a warning!
