This is really, in my opinion, one of the best yet underrated new wave song of the 80s. Whats worse is Ricky Gervais seems to be not proud of his accomplishments and his glorious stint with Seona Dancing. He seems so be so full of himself, but there is no doubt he is one talented fellow.

I knew about Ricky's involvement with Seona Dancing, but hadn't really heard the song until the other day. Although the band didn't succeed critically or commercially, it's amazing to think that Ricky's now back in such a big way, so many years later.

Although there has been lots of great music both before and since, the 80s has a special place in my heart musically. So many memories; although I didn't know this song at the time, it's strangely enticing and very evocative of a bygone era.
