Anybody who likes the sound should take a look at class 1 offshore powerboat racing - most boats use two V12's (around 8.2 litres each pumping out around 900hp a piece!). Imagine a race start with half a dozen boats - it's mind blowing.

I love that they use big loud un economic v12s, but i justed wished they revved to like 20,000rpm. if that happened it would rival F1. no joke.

@Speedy00 inzwischen wurde der kalender für 2011 veröffentlicht, da ist der nürburgring nicht mehr drin :( in deutschland gibt es gar kein rennen mehr, am nächsten zu deutschland wären assen und zolder...

Actually your slightly off there matey, F1's have exactly the same bhp as the Superleague's @ 750 and only get upto 800bhp when F1's use the KERS button, but the SF's have a simular device called the "Push to pass button" which kicks in an extra 50bhp so these can get upto 800hp aswell. These loose a few seconds a lap in performance due to narrow front tyres and aerodynamical technology so less downforce thru the corners compared with F1, plus the drivers arnt quite as good!!

In terms of dessabell levels I would say that these are rougthly the same as the current F1's, but they have a better sound cause they are V12's so a much more appealing scream like sound!! They lack the rpm ratio of the F1's though so loose abit of the range in the sound, these engines dont peak out like the F1's do!! These produce around 12,000rpm I would luv the SF organisers to increase them to 18,000rpm like the F1's then they would sound like the 90's v12s totally awesome!!!

Ha ha. I loved it when the Porto car dropped it in turn 1. These V-12's are excellent. They sound like F1 engines from the early 90's. Brilliant! F1 should seriously watch their backs with this series. If these cars keep putting on good shows, I might switch over entirely.

FC Porto (my club, btw) had bad times until Estoril '08 was finished. It was supposed that ADR technologies would be a good mechanics team, but only until we switched to hitech racing we started to win. And now we are 7th in the championship, with 8 races and the only club in the '09 season to have two wins. Basically, here's the explanation of the whole thing.
