Its actually a pretty dangerous substance.

Dry Ice holds a steady tempeture at -109.3 degrees. Besides the fact that if you touch it with bare skin its enough to freeze your blood instantly.

When exposed to a warming source, ie. water, or room tempeture, it puts off a DANGEROUS amount of Carbon Dioxide.

Beings as thats all dry ice is, frozen carbon dioxide.

First off... I highly doubt that the children bought it. Last time I checked, at least in my state, dry Ice can only be purchased by someone over the age of 18, so the father probably bought it, who I am pretty sure u can hear in the video. And it's NOT as dangerous as you are making it seem. You can hold dry ice in your hands as long as you keep it moving, on average it takes about 2-3 seconds of constant touching b4 you can get frost bit.

By the way, most Grocery Store chains will sell left over dry ice from shipping their frozen foods. I get my dry ice at Harris Teeter, but I am sure some other Grocery Stores sell it aswell. Also, most party supply stores have a way to obtain dry ice because it is often used as a fog producing agent when added to water, or to be placed under a layer of regular ice to keep drink coolers cold longer.

I work at Jack and Jill Icecream. So I handle a lot of dry ice, just dont think that children should be playing with it, but it sounds like in the video they had proper supervision.

WARNING: DONT GRAB WITH SKIN OR ATLEAST A THICK ENOUGH CLOTHE LIKE A SLEEVE OF UR JACKET.
