I googled Bush tax cuts and CBO and the first result I got was:

"CBO: Bush Tax Cuts Responsible For Almost A Third Of Deficit In Last 10 Years"

The second result was "CBO Director Doug Elmendorf: Extending the Bush tax cuts will hurt the economy and reduce incomes." That was his testimony to the senate budget committee.

This is why Obama extended those cuts... Not because he's "a Republican".

Ron Paul would not win as an independent and I'll tell you why. After Perot ran, the parties got together and created the commission on presidential debates to shut out all 3rd party candidates from the debates. He wont run as an independent, because he knows he would lose.

I live very comfortably. I have never accepted any form of help from the government...but I realize that people not as lucky as me need a fighting chance to get out of poverty.
